Wow!I'm impressed. This place really makes some great food. I was very cautious about this place, unsure if it could be good. I'm happy to report: this is one of the places in Bakersfield to get a quick bite of seafood, utterly destroying and surpassing Red Lobster by huge leaps and bounds.I really appreciate their healthy choices. Their cauli flower rice is fantastic! Their coleslaw needs a little bit more acidity though, however, i am grateful they didn't drown it in vinegar.Highly recommend California Fish Grill, though some of you may find that it's not enough food for you. However, you will leave knowing it was delicious and (usually) pretty healthy.Thanks for the memories.

This is one of my favorite spots for fish! They are very open about how they source their animals, and they have a wide variety not found in most places. I personally get the wild salmon with the caujin sauce on it. The buttery garlic sauce is a close second for sure. If you haven't been here yet, it's a must-have!
Good food at a good price. It s something like the Mac ? take a fish your suace en the sides. Good price good quality.
Always find it hard to trust a fish place away from the coast but they did not disappoint. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. Between the tuna and shrimp tacos were preferred the tacos (put pickled red onion on everything please). My favorite side was the street corn and I wish it would have had even more. Would not call this fast food but the service is quick especially for the return in flavor.

Horrible….. I don’t like ordering online cause it’s never the same and doesn’t taste the same. I called and asked the gal about the sweet potato fries with the garlic butter sauce and the gal stated that it was called dynamite fries. Well when I got home the food was very cold and it wasn’t what I wanted I ordered and that was sweet potato fries with garlic butter sauce. We got cold dynamite French fries and they were nasty. I will never ever ever order online again at this place. Both my husband and I will have to order at the place until they make it clear on there website between garlic butter sauce and dynamite fries.
Best fish and chips I’ve had in a while and these were much better than the seafood restaurant chain Not worth mentioning. Portion size for the amount of money represents a good value for me. Five out of five of my book.
