Honestly, this is my favorite place to get bento boxes. I think I probably get one every two weeks or so. They're always packed and the food always taste great. I haven't dined in for awhile since I'm the only one that likes Japanese food in my house hold but the owner is always super nice and attentive. It's also very clean inside. It's a nice place for a date since it's has a cozy feel to it. The prices are also very reasonable and worth the food.
Okay we spent a bit because I kept ordering some asahi beers. I remember coming to this place when it had just open! Maybe 15 years ago? It really changed for the good, ofcourse. We went on a Saturday before mothers day hoping it wasn't busy. It wasn't the gentleman who helped us, had long salt and pepper hair and maybe his wife also worked there. They were both very attentive but quiet. As soon as I I complimented his hair he smiled so big and everything was up hill from there. He talked more he smiled more. So nice what a simple compliment can do for someone. The food was really good. Just as I remembered. We will definitely come back.
Very clean place, polite hostess. Everything nice.. prices are reasonable. You get your food in a decent amount of time..
I’ve been going here since I was 7 years old and has been my favorite spot of all time, it’s what made my favorite food Japanese food. Not sure if it’s the nostalgia of the space or that the servers ARE the owners. It all just seems very authentic, never had a bad roll here. I recommend asking for a chefs special, you don’t know what you’re going to get but it allows the chef to have creative **freedom**
I love this place, I have been going for years now. They treat us like family and the food is amazing, the sushi is fresh and delicious.
The food is always great! It's very tasty, savory, tender, crisp were needed, the service is always on point! In my opinion, the Miso soup has a nice savory taste that is well balanced and the tempura is always very good. The sushi rolls are portioned well and so is the sashimi.
Great customer service. Ordered the teriyaki chicken bento box and with the exception of the salad that comes with the box meal, everything else was good and fulfilling for $10 and change out the door.Would be nice if they had a menu to go.
Excellent food and great service. The owner, Jay, was super friendly. The food quality was excellent and some of the best Japanese we have ever had.
Today was our second time visiting this restaurant while traveling from one state to another and we can say that the food was amazing. Customer service was nice and the food was delicious. We tried different roles and sushi, which turned out to be great and fresh. The prices were reasonable and the place was clean. We liked the overall atmosphere and food. Definitely recommend! :)
We came hungry and left with both our bellies and hearts full. The Salmon Skin roll was really good. I also loved the Orange Blossom Roll. The service was great, too.
