I have eaten here several times. I have not found better food in town. I like food. It makes me happy. I like this location. I like meat. I recommend this place for eating.
Simply Amazing Barbecue!! ??The Brisket was smoked to perfection, plenty marbled, the right amount of char, & cut thic by a pro! The flavor stands on its own and the meat was flaky, juicy, fork tender greatness…You Gotta try all 4 sauces. Gentleman’s Classic has a light pour, great tang, & just the right mild kick at the end. Sassy Southerner shows her sauce a little thicker with a bigger kick and a hug at the beginning followed by smooth sweetness at the end, makes sense ??Unique rotating side menu, I got to try the tomato pie with amazing flaky crust top. And the classic potato salad was creamy, lightly seasoned refreshing.Ring the bell at the door if you know what’s up with flavor Town?The Banana Pudding Cake was fluffy yellow cake, topped with the banana pudding custard style w crumbled cookies on top. Dec-a-dent decadent!!!?
First time trying today. Service was quick and friendly. Food was good, even after a 20 minute drive back home
Best, thickest, most juicy tri tip.Potsto salad is okay. Some massive chunks of potato that we had to break up and mix in.Shrimp po' boy was good. There were some strong flavours in the sauce and pickles. We were told the Pickles were made in house.
Very tasty BBQ! I’ve tried many items from here and they’ve all been good. Fairly priced as well for the portions.
Family owned, amazing hospitality!!! The slaw is delicious and the sweet tea is perfect! Plenty of different BBQ sauces to try. We will be back! ?
Stopped by today to try your bbq. First if you going to sell bbq running out is not good for business. You have to learn how to manage your inventory.Chili beans I am really getting tired of places that put their beef ends in their chili beans. Everyone has done beef ends in their beans. Not special at all.Potato salad. Placing potato salad on a tray and sprinkling paprika on top, still boring potato salad.Quick spicy pickles. Everyone keeps trying to make quick spicy pickles only to end up serving a seasoned cucumber. Still have the cucumber taste not a pickle taste. Make a real good pickle and serve that, your customers will love your efforts.Cold bbq sauce. Who wants to order hot meats only to be given a cold sauce out of a near by cooler to place on your meat. Very poor setup.The sample of brisket was the last they had for the day so it was not lean and I could not judge it adequately so I will refrain from providing a review.Pulled pork was good and had a good flavor. Not dry or overly fat just right.Probably at one time they were really kicking out some good product, but now they have fallen into the just another marginal place.
Juicy tasty flavor I had brisket, pork greens mac n cheddar and corn bread. We will be back also ordered big hoss with cole slaw ?
First off I would just like to say, this will be the first bad review I have ever written for any restaurant. However in this case I felt it was very necessary. We ordered our food to go, I Ordered a tri tip sandwich and my husband ordered the big hoss both with sides of man n cheese. We brought our food home and opened up the box , all we could see was rubbery fat all through out the meat. I didn’t have one piece of tri tip that was edible so I threw my food away. My husband tried to eat his sandwich but had the same issue . He ended up getting sick and throwing up a few hours later. Also the Mac n cheese tasted old and like it had been sitting out for days. Needless to say we will never come back. I don’t know if this was just a bad day or what but I felt like I needed to warn everyone.
Fantastic bbq. Unique sauces - try them all. Everything tasted freshly made. Brisket with amazing crust - best ever.Worth going out of your way for this food!!!
