The vibe is very welcoming. Indoor and outdoor seating available and both give a great vibe. Outdoors is a water bowl for dogs. Inside the background music adds to the atmosphere. I've had a few of their teas, but the one I had at my last visit was the iced green tea which was great and healthy! Totally coming back again and again. And again!
Mantra is a great place to meet with friends and grab something yummy to eat and drink. It has a beautiful outdoor patios and comfy indoor spaces to sit and enjoy. I love how they support local small businesses by showcasing their products...from plants, ceramics, cards, paintings, etc...it's always fun to go in and see what is new. My go-to whenever I stop in is their Keto donut and the seasonal ice tea...always so good!!
Excellent environment with local art for sale/on display. Delicious food and coffee. Lots of space for dining.
Expensive mediocre coffee. They don’t take cash. Ambiance is nice. There used to be a real charm to this place. Somewhere during the pandemic, that charm was lost. I guess I can’t really blame Mantra for that.Being generous. Rounding up to 4 stars, when it probably deserves 3.5 stars.
Attendants are very nice and ready assist you.
Wonderful study spot + great place to chat with friends. Don’t fear if you can’t find street parking! They have a small parking lot in the back with ~6 parking spots. :) Seating both inside and outside is ample and comfortable and the staff are so kind and accommodating! Both their pastries and their drinks are great— like I’ve said, it’s a wonderful spot to sit down and have a chat with friends. Mantra as a business is very progressive, and I love studying there to support my local progressive businesses. :D
Been going to this place for years as a student and post college…the studying vibes are 10/10. Although I will admit, it tends to get busy here so you might be out of luck with seating at certain times and can feel cramped. Despite that, I will continue coming here for the great coffee, relaxing ambience and music, and the unique atmosphere it brings to the SGV
Definitely customer service can improve! I’ve visited this place twice in a the past couple of weeks since I love trying new coffee shops when I have the opportunity. Unfortunately, the male servers working here, appeared somewhat snobby. The first time I went I expected to be treated with patience when exploring and getting to know the menu but instead, I felt rushed and judged for not knowing what I wanted. The second time it happened the same and the male server from my first visit treating me poorly as well as my companion who happened to be a client of mine. I’m not coming back again and I won’t recommend it to my friends or colleagues.
I don't usually go out for coffee or have coffee at all, but I came here to study and ordered an ice pear tea with agave and a salted chocolate chip cookie. Both were good and I'll be back for the atmosphere and kind people that work here. I enjoyed hanging out for a bit, I liked that there was an outlet nearby (even while sitting outside) in case I needed to charge my laptop, and it's a very laid back setting. Music isn't too loud, you can find your own little corner either inside or outside in the patio or garden to focus and relax for a bit. I also think the glassware/plates are really cool!
Can’t tell you how happy I am to have found this spot! There’s not many boutique like coffee shops around here that have a great space for studying, but Mantra totally fits the bill. Everyone who works there is so kind, people who work/study there are very respectful, too. Wi-Fi works great, coffee is great tasting too.You can be here for hours at a time, and it’s totally fine. Lots of available seating inside and out - the patio and front garden areas are so peaceful, too! So much love for Mantra, and a great mission too.
