My first time here, the food was ok, the service was a little slow they didn't really check on us and when it came time to pay it was more than it was worth. They did not let us know that they have a service charge for parties of 6 or more lol what a joke it wasn't even busy so they weren't losing customers by a large party being there. I will never come here again.
The food it was good, great service from the waitress, they brought our food fast they were kind. I recommend it ??.
I am torn with this review as with this place it’s always a hit or miss, some things are excellent while others are pretty bad.I have tried their menudo and their shrimp soup and they are both excellent specially with the oil chili and delicious hand made tortillas. their micheladas were absolutely amazing the first time I tried them, while the second time they used bad limes on them and it made the michelada absolutely bitter and un drinkable , the guacamole I ordered was black, the shrimp coktel was not good, as it was very fishi and very stinky and shrimp were a bit rubbery and it had a bad aftertaste, The pozole was average not bad but not great. But what I did not like was the birria. My first impression as I opened it was the awful smell, I think its goat meat which I was not expecting, I was not advised but it can also be my bad for not asking. but then it seemed as if they gave me the left overs, because there was hardly any meat , mostly caldo and chunks of fat . I would definitely never order that again. This place has a-lot of potential but they need to have higher quality standards to have better consistency in the quality of their food.
So far in the last 2 weeks I've tried the pozole the chili verde plate n taquitos plate nd were all delicious..Pozole is really good very good broth plenty of pork n hominy..?..Nice service friendly staff..
I had one of the most tastiest burritos I've had in a long time. Small spot with great service and bomb food. The menu has everything you need breakfast, lunch and dinner. Check out their carnitas plate ?. They are wheelchair friendly with parking in the back

I really enjoy Jessie's food. I recommend everything on the menu. My favorite is the Chicken Taquitos they are my favorite.

Jessie's is one of the best Mexican and Seafood Restaurants in Azusa. It has a wonderful selection and all food on the menu is delicious and I give them 5 stars on all. It has friendly staff and great service. Highly recommend anyone to come and take a bite here.
Chilequiles were ok but a little bland. My wife lived her machaca meal.Did have to send both our orders back. Wife asked for no bell peppers but cook put them in anyway. My over easy eggs were overcooked.
