I've never had a bad experience at an Applebee's. The service is always great and so is the food!!!
An employee was in a bathroom stall and left without washing their hands. I saw her preparing drinks. We had just had the same thing happen at another location that night where a kitchen employee didn't wash their hands so we got up and left for this location. I told managers at both locations. I'm still sickened and in shock. Done with this chain FOREVER. Can you imagine what must happen to the food then?!
Love the food at Applebee's. It's all so good I have a hard time deciding what to order. The service is usually good, but it depends on the server, and it the kitchen is short staffed.
Our servers were wonderful and we enjoyed the company we went with. However, the food was very disappointing. The chicken was tough and chewy. It tasted like plastic. The hand battered fish tasted like something from the frozen food aisle at a market. Although our servers were great, the dining experience was a disappointment and I can't imagine returning. the cocktail was the only part of the meal worth documenting.
This Applebee's(Azusa) is thee most friendly, professional restaurant then others Ive gone. Today, I was able to try doordash for thee first time and only time. I learned that this place doesn't earn anything from doordash. I only used doordash because, I recieved it as a xmas gift. Well, it sadden me because this crew works soo hard to make a living. I ended up purchasing a club sandwich dish with soda on top of my doordash, not much as I too am in a pinch. That club meal, I gave to someone at the corner of exit of Citrus at (210 east) and he was greatful. Lets all do our part and dine in and not use apps just order through restaurant directly if you canand give good tips. To the Friday day crew, thank you for your hard work! When I get a job(in between jobs), I promise to tip better. You are all worth it!
Stopped at the bar for a couple beers. No craft beers on tap!But the restaurant looks decent and the service was fine.

The staff that helped me for my Togo was very friendly and helpful. Everything that I order was good except for the full rack of ribs, it was so dry and chewy like jerky and the top sirloin that was ordered for my mom was way overcooked, I order a medium rare it was almost well done. I'll go back again and I hope the food will turn out better next time.
I ordered the bourbon street chicken and shrimp and it was mostly good except the shrimp tasted really fishy. I don't expect too much from a place like Applebee's but when the shrimp is that bad I'm gonna be a bit disappointed. Our server was attentive, the wait wasn't bad and everything was really good except for the shrimp
