Great food, but small portions for a high price.

Mixed feelings. The brie appetizer and the prime rib were 5 stars. The pulled pork sandwich was chewy and not packed and ‘brioche’ bun was dry. They were out of the smoked salmon plate so got the soy ginger salmon and it was barely edible. Unfortunately we left without out doggie bag and when we went back it was ‘thrown out’. It took 15 mins to get our check but our left over prime rib was thrown out within 4 to 6 minutes. We were just outside talking too so if someone would have looked outside they could have given us the box.

Really disappointed after reading the reviews and hearing from my mother in law that this is the best burger in town. My partner and I have an 8 month old that we haven't been able to get away from. Finally we had our first date night yesterday since he was born. We decided to order some to go burgers from The Club Car and go see a movie. I ordered the bacon, avo and cheddar burger. I usually order my bacon crispy, but hey, the menu says they do it that way anyways! Great. We started eating and I can't tell you how disappointed I was. There was no sauce on the burger, the bacon was barely cooked and after a few bites I realize the burger is RAW. If a burger is a little undercooked I'm not normally the person who would complain, but I mean this was absolutely raw. I don't know if they were training a new cook or what, but the food was TERRIBLE. We threw our burgers away and went to In-n-out and at least had some cooked meat.Maybe one day I'll give them another chance, but until then, I'd highly recommend NOT going here.

Just walked by and smelled deliciousness. Bf had BBQ pulled pork sandwich and I had grilled chicken sandwich. Big points for the homemade chips. We'll be back :)

I had a fun time last night at the Club Car. I went with a my friend Kimberly Erin.. We had a blast singing songs that the band was playing. It was a cozy, friendly atmosphere and once people had their dinner and the band started playing, people had fun mingling a bit. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I was disappointed in the meal I ordered. It was the Salmon Salad. The Salmon portion on the salad was delicious but sadly was only about three bites. And besides the Arugula part of the salad, it only had four very thinly sliced pieces of cucumber and tomato on the sides of the bowl as garnish. So I felt like I mainly had a bowl of Arugula, which left me hungry, so I had the server bring me bread to try and get some satisfaction, and I really just have a normal appetite. As it turned out the gentleman at the next table had ordered the Wednesday Night Special, which is Prime Rib, which looked delish!! I remarked how good his prime Rib looked as he said it was, as my unfulfilled tummy sat there drooling. Some girlfriends and I are going back there next Wednesday night again and I WILL be ordering the Prime Rib, and I'm sure I will be dreaming of that Prime Rib many times this week (medium or medium rare? baked potato, butter, sour cream and chives, yes please!!!) Until I finally have it in most excitedly front of me!!! And then on to dancing the Elaine!

So I'm going to start by saying that I very rarely give five stars to anyplace I leave a review for and I've done quite a few reviews. The Club Car however deserves every single one of the five that I'm about to give it! It's my fiancé birthday and we wanted to get outa town and take a drive to someplace new. I found The Club Car online, checked out the menu and it looked good so we gave it a try. We didn't venture very deep into the building but it looked loke it had a nice bar area and plenty of seating inside. The waitress was great! She was friendly, talked with us a while, said all the food was great and didn't even use a notepad to write our order down which I admire. Our food was amazing! It came out quickly, it was hot and fresh and the portions were large. It's hard to find a place that meets all of your expectations but this little gem in the foothills sure did. We'll be back and y'all should check it out if you're ever in the Auburn area!

Local favourite with live music, well stoked bar and lots of history on the walls. 10/10 recommend for a yummy meal and welcoming atmosphere.

delicious dinner, great entertainment (open mic night) cozy atmosphere.

Food and drinks so good! Outdoor dining plus a full bar. Indoor dining as well.

I felt it was a bit overpriced for the quality of food. I had the lasagna and it was so rich that I couldn't even finish it. And then I tried the lava cake and it was just cake, no liquid chocolate. My husband really liked his steak and my daughter her butter pasta, which is the only reason this is getting a 3 star.
