The food was delicious, very well flavored, and good portion size.The service was prompt and with a smile… I will definitely eat there again soon!!

We've been to several other Strings restaurants in the Sacramento area. This caused us to be hesitant to try this restaurant in auburn.Glad we did. The God was good and the service was prompt. Very nice experience. That doesn't happen very often anymore.
Although they changed their recipe decades ago, we still love their Tortellini Alla Panna . Salad (or soup) and bread come with the meal. We tried the fried zucchini appetizer this time and it was great+-crispy, well seasoned batter and juicy zucchini inside. I had a glass of prosecco to accompany my meal. Always recommend a stop at Strings!!
First visit, ordered the bruschetta. Took 20 minutes to arrive. Menu read pesto and garlic bread, not a speck of pesto on it (thankfully, the server offered to add the capers). As you can see by the picture, toppings were separate and I had to build my meal. It fell apart every time I took a bite; had to keep adding topping - too much work after a long day. No olives (???), no oil to drizzle over the bread. I've been to Italy; this place is the McDonald's version of Italian food. Will I go back?NO WAY.
Pre-Covid the food was amazing, had a great meal and was overall a pleasant experience.Now Post-Covid this restaurant has lost its touch. The salad mix was from a spring bag and the leaves were browning and slimy. The bread was ok so was my meal. My husband ordered a lasagna and was not impressed, I ordered a kids pepperoni pizza for my son and the crust felt under cooked. I'm not sure if owners have changed, but this restaurant definitely lost its touch.My customer service was great especially since there was only one server for lunch.

We stop by for lunch, while driving through Auburn and I have to say it was an amazing experience. I love how well price their menu was. The waitress was super friendly and welcoming, she made sure we always had our drinks topped, she constantly checked on us and other customers around us. The menu was very appealing and the food came out delicious. The whole restaurant was clean and so were the restrooms. We're very pleased and will definitely come back to try out other food on the menu!!!

We have lived in the Auburn area since 2016 and just recently had our first night out at Strings. What a delight! The service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious and their menu offers a wide range of dishes. We were so impressed that we returned within a week and took a friend with us. The first visit was on a week night and the venue was relatively busy. The second visit was on a Saturday night and the place was packed! That in itself speaks volumes!! We will return!
