Looking for a Happy Hour spot or a restaurant to enjoy a delicious salad? Max's Restaurant and Bar boast of having "everything you've always wanted to eat". They have a high-quality menu with fresh ingredients. The Cobb salad was generously portioned and prepared to perfection. Happy Hour is Monday-Friday from 3 to 6pm and Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 5 pm. The beer and wine selection is local and they have a full service bar. I would recommend the restaurant have live music on the patio. It would being in customers and they would stay longer. This would be a great Happy Hour date spot. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, good food and drinks. Inside and outside dinning and plenty of parking. We spend lots of time there.

Havent been here in awhile. I always craved Guy's Chicken salad. Had the current Asian chicken salad and it was just okay. So, still craving Guys chicken salad! Husband enjoyed his patty melt, staff was very fast and friendly!

A great place to stop for a well prepared meal and/or drink. The chicken street tacos and turkey sandwich were perfect! Greg was our server. He was patient and helpful - he even ran our car down with the to go box we had inadvertently left on the table.We will definitely return the next time we are in the area. The Holiday Inn the restaurant is part of was very well kept and both the lobby of the hotel and part of the restaurant dining room had a fireplace going. We did not stay at the hotel, but after after walking through it to get upstairs to the restaurant, we just might some day.
Ordered the Cobb Salad and it was wonderful, all the perfect ingredients for me. A generous serving. I have tremors so I asked if they would mix it for me in the kitchen, and SO ACCOMMODATING! Some will say they don't do that which then I must order something different. Just a very pleasant experience. Service, atmosphere, and good food.
I'm afraid Max's has gone the way of Mad Max. Although I've been going there for 1 to 2 nights per month for several years, I am afraid to say they have lost focus. I do not recommend eating at what was once a nice place to dine. Hope they can turn things around.
