Max’s is bomb! Only complaint I have is they close before lunch is over. Wish they stayed open until 3, I’d eat there a lot more.

I love Max's. It is super easy to order and pick up a great sandwich. One of the main appeals is that it is very inexpensive. I much prefer going here than other chain sandwich shops.
I have been going to Max's Deli for over a year and gotta tell you they got this sandwich business down! Phenomenal flavors, warm, friendly customer service from Max and his team, and quality food, from the sandwiches to the chili and potato salad. My go-to has always been the Brisket Banh Mi, sometimes with bacon, but they're all pretty amazing. Unfortunately open only during lunch hour from 10-2 and weekdays only, otherwise I'd be stopping by on weekends after trail runs. If you're in the Auburn area during lunch on a weekday, you won't want to miss a stop here!
The #50 is to die for! My boyfriend talks about this place every time he goes here. He took me here when I visited California and it was so good, I understand the hype now. Honestly, wouldn’t be surprised if he proposed to me here. Ricky loves his sandwiches.
Best sandwich I've had all year. The people here were great as well. All around great experience. I got the Californian and could not be more impressed.
Killer sandwiches, awesome quick service. Easy to order online. In fact, a lot of places need to check out how easy it is to order online. Apple bees you listening, your online order needs to be done by a regular person, not some IT guy, that thinks he is clever. Max runs a great tight ship, but Stephanie steers the boat. I go there often. My go to place.
My work put in a big sandwhich order recently and at least 5 of them were wrong, 2 of them had the wrong bread, 1 of them had cheese when no cheese was requested and one had the wrong cheese. One of my coworkers got an entirely different sandwich but he's not picky so he enjoyed it anyways. I couldn't eat my sandwich at all because it was on rye bread with cheese and I can't have dairy. So if you're putting in a big order check it ALL before you leave.
