Took my 10 year old out for a mother and daughter breakfast without her siblings. I was told this was a good small local place and had to try it out. Everything was good. Food, service, portion size. EVERYTHING! They even have take out.She had french toast and I had the biggest egg whites omelet I have ever had. The strawberry jam had actual strawberries. We both tapped out and took the rest home.We beat the rush but my daughter and I agreed we had to bring the rest of the family back. There are so many menu options and specials we want to try.
Almost a five, but some of their items are off a bit and the location and venue isn't great.That said, generally excellent dishes for what they do and probably the best cafe food in the area.Far better and more enjoyable than any chain location.Their chicken fried steak is superb, and equal to the best I've had. Good meat, excellent gravy.Everyone else enjoyed their omelets, burgers, etc., as well. Eggs or meat were overcooked a bit in some cases, and potatoes were also a bit dry.....but only in comparison to the overall well prepared dishes.The staff is friendly and efficient , which offsets the otherwise small dingy building on a busy noisy four lane road in the midst of car repair shops.Locals love it, which is how we found it, so plan on waiting on weekends.If you can't wait, go to Awful Annie's. They're not completely awful, but not as good as Katrina's.
This place was hoppin!!Really loved the homey decor of the dining room! Everything was worth the wait. First time I've ever had a turkey pesto omelet!Service and food was excellent!
Found this little place here on trip advisors when coming home from Reno. It is a small place with indoor and patio dining. Nothing fancy but very clean! Service was wonderful and the food was fantastic. Will return!
Really good home cooking food, great service. The biscuits and gravy were excellent, as was the omelette. My son said the cheese burger was amazing, the fries were big and tasty. The chorizo was kind of bland and they only carry Pepsi products thus only 4 stars.
Bad coffee. The coffee tasted like the coffee maker or pot hadn’t been cleaned in some time. Otherwise the food and selection was very good and the service was great. 5 stars if they can figure out how to improve their coffee.
It's on Sunday so ..very very busy ! And the food wasn't that amazing like people talk about. I think Awful Annie is better. The staff are friendly and nice ! Maybe we will give a try next time on a regular days.
I absolutely love Katrina's! We go here for our birthday breakfasts/brunches and they have an awesome selection for lunch as well. I highly suggest the Tuscan scramble and the lemon yogurt pancakes!
Excellent spot. Gets pretty busy for breakfast. The Benedict was good. Everything tasted fresh.
