So my first time at Hanami Sushi.I was very impressed.I always start by ordering a sashimi,The cut stakes of assorted fish is always how to tell if your eating at a good restaurant or not.I could tell by the taste of the Salmon and Tuna that I found a Good place.$127.00 for seven Rolls and one plate of sashimi and a Poki salad. I was pleased and very happy with all my orders.On the other hand I would recommend going a little after the lunch rush.
I've eaten lunch here three times over the past two years with various friends. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I LOVE the bento boxes. I do not eat sushi so can't comment on that. I plan on taking my daughter here next week for her birthday meal. She is a sushi eater so I will see what she has to say about this place.

Good food & reasonable price except short of staff & have to wait for seating & food. Good business & lots of take-out waiting!
This will be review number Maestro or Maestra a few notes on the piano if you please, SIXTEEN, for Hanami Sushi in Auburn! Quite expensive for the Child Menu, or as I call them Pediatric Menu! Ten dollar and seventy three cents with tax for Pediatric Menu! That is somewhat steep for Child/Pediatric Menu. However, it was big size portion! Most children menu comes with drink and/or comes with dessert! The other people the tea comes with it! Okay, so even if not comes with drink, at least I am able to share the tea! Just as Chinese restaurants, when tea pot is near empty, open up the lid, that signals to the server(s) that the table needs the tea pot refilled! Yes was ten dollar and seventy three cents for mine on Child/Pediatric menu, but was for that a big size! Even came with Miso soup! Wonder what the others paid since my at Child size is ten dollar and seventy three cents with tax!
Everything was tasty, service was on point as well. Lunch ends at 2:30 or so and dinner starts at 4:30 Google will say they're open straight out to 9pm but if you go in between 2:30pm and 4:30pm they won't be open. Just wanted to mention that here for people so they don't go there on accident while they are closed since Google hasn't been updated with those hours. The side salad they serve was something new for me and loved the miso sesame dressing on it.
Best sushi, best service! Our family just loves coming here. Favorite rolls are 911, dragon roll, crunch roll, old auburn to name a few. We also love the UFO and tempura.
The sushi is good, but the prices don't align with the product. I ordered a baked roll and it came out lukewarm. We also ordered extra sauce and they didn't tell us that they charged us up the ying yang for it.
Mama san was so friendly and welcoming. The staff are wonderful and very sincere. The food was AWESOME!!!!! Merry Christnas you guys!!! :)
We usually go to another Sushi place in Auburn, which is closer to home. They were closed Monday, so we thought we would try Hanami Sushi.....we now have a new favorite!! Food was delicious!!..Great staff too
