This was one of the best Mexican food spots in Auburn and the service was above and beyond! The guacamole and salsa was super yummy. I had the best Chile rellano with shrimp was super flavorful. One of the best I've ever had and so much food! It was a good portion size and so much that I split it in half. I had saved the other half for my second meal.
Most authentic and will make your specific dish from starch no matter what no matter what kind of special dish you wish to order or have them create for you this restaurant is most willing and does an excellent job doing it
I feel the prices are way too high for the bland flavor and service produced. I went to pick up my online order, didn't realize half the order was missing till I got back home. They didn't even try to resolve the issue after having to go back to wait to have it made. The burritos are overpriced and mostly rice ?
Either you're going to love this place or it's a once and done. Everything tastes fresh and is made to order. You won't find a pool of grease on your plate, just fresh ingredients. There was a lack of flavor in everything we ate. Even the salsa was bland. The chili verde lunch special was recommended by my waiter, but he didn't tell me it included a drink. If I would have known this, I would have had something besides water. The lunch special was $12 for the speciality plate. It's just enough food and your won't be taking home any leftovers. If you prefer your food on the bland side, this is your type of Mexican restaurant.
This place is like eating with family! Jaime and Angela are incredible hosts and the food is always excellent! The tacos and chile verde rock my world and make sure you try the stuffed avocado!! We are definitely regulars, at least once a week and usually twice week. If you haven't been here yet you are missing out!
We had a Christmas party here and then came back a few weeks later. The food is very good and the margaritas are nice and strong. Service is great too, friendly and attentive.
