This is our go to when driving to Tahoe. Carnitas here are excellent. Burritos Jalisco knows how to build a well balanced burrito. The salsa bar is not that exciting to look at but their homemade salsas are top notch. Make sure you grab some chipotle sauce for the road. Finally, if you are looking for horchata, this is the place to go. I don't know if they make it fresh or from a jarabe but it comes out as a must-have.
Used to go there when the Father made the food and ran it. Now his son took over and just lets his friends get free food and sit there while we wait for ours. Constantly is drinking while on the job and cannot get a order right.The son "James" is very rude and made me feel like I should never come back to this place. There's a taco shop down the road that does way better and honestly they're very unclean as well. I warn you DO NOT GO!

I usually get their steak street tacos and the place is freaking awesome love the owner and love the place major thumbs up:-)
Tasty restaurant for a burrito, chimichanga, or other Mexican dish. No table service. Many vegetarian options. Very casual setting. Friendly staff
This used to be a great place to eat about 10 years ago. I was in the area so thought I would go again. The young lady taking orders was rude and this is what they pass off as a burrito bowl. They need to steep it up . There is a Mexican restaurant on every block doing much better than here.

This place is the best. I’ve been coming here for about two years now. The guys who work here are so helpful and friendly, the food never fails to be anything less than amazing. The customer service is just top notch. I can’t say enough good things about this place. If I ever move I’ll miss it.
Clean, friendly, comfortable. Best burrito I’ve had in years. Employees were polite and made sure everything was perfect. I may have been talking with the owner? Super nice guy. Definitely eating there again as I pass by on I-80.
God tacos, very nice staff and.fast service. Regular burritos are middling but stuffed full of ingredients. Wet burritos are where it's at.
