Great food and cones and Maci was awesome at her job, working 2 counters at the same time all while being friendly and professional.
Burger, onion rings, and fries were so good! The best part were their Twisties. So goooooddd!!!!
I loved this place. It was my first time visiting. The chicken strips were crispy and there wasn't too much breading. The fries were hot and crisp on the outside soft on the inside. I felt the chili was greasy. The burgers were fresh and done perfectly. The chocolate peanut butter milkshake was the star of the show for me. I got the large and don't regret it. It's smooth and is the most on point mix of peanut butter and chocolate. 10/10 would recommend.
Had our burgers
You know, it's one of those small town Burger joints you find all over the US west. Totally beloved by its local area. I don't have any particular complaints. If you've been to one, you've been to them all. It's clean, food is fine. I liked the soft-serve options. Reminds me of Rice Hill or East Wind in my home state of Oregon. Nice nostalgia factor for me post hike.I did the open face chili burger, and did not enjoy it. I didn't finish. Should have gone for the jr. I don't like thick patties, they are flavorless. My husband went for the spicy one and loved it. My son got the kids meal and was content. Great fried sides. I had a peanut butter sundae, my son got a plain cone, both yum.
A friend had recommended Burger & Cream, saying the Shakes were "screaming with REAL fruit in 'em!" Hoo-dee-hoo! They were right! Oh, and lemme tell you... The fish and chips... didn't have a chance! 3 big, thick, fluffy fillets. When I first saw it I wanted to take a pic (which I never do), but I couldn't stop myself from having a pinch... then a pinch became a whole piece... It's just so yummy! The cod was so smooth, like butter, and the batter - the perfect cloud of puff! The only problem I have is: I'm perplexed as to what to order next time!
Really good burgers - shakes and floats. Fries are good but not special (needs seasoning imho) and onion rings also not worth writing about. Definitely worth supporting this local business. Outdoor seating in a tented space. Busy parking lot.
This place is the ?. COMThe last time I came here it was Foster's Freeze! But with a name change it hasn't changed a bit! Still the best food and service. Wish there was one in Sacramento. My grandfather's favorite place for ice cream. He just passed away at the ripe old age of 97 this past Wednesday. We came up on Friday and ordered burgers, strips, chili cheese fries and ice cream. Whew...were we all full? We'll be back every year on his birthday, father's day, and the anniversary of his passing to celebrate his memory.
Best burgers in town and so worth the drive. Great food.
We haven't been there in a long time. We were on a tight schedule so we decided to go up to the order to go window. We ordered a cheese burger and fries. It smelled delicious and looked and tasted yummy.
