Excellent service wonderful people excellent food I will definitely come back.

Honestly the best service we’ve ever had from all the staff!! Everyone is so friendly, kind and patient. Ruby was our waitress and she was phenomenal! Highly recommend this Black Bear Diner!

My cousin got the meatloaf (lite)Platter with Tomatoes and fruit. It was great.I got the Grizzly with 2 gigantic pancakes, which I took home, red potatoes, 2 sausage links, 2 pics of bacon and a small ham steak. It was fantastic, except for the red potatoes. They were over cooked and dry inside. We had a waitress in training and she did good except that I had to flag down her trainer and ask for more water. She forgot about it, but remembered about the time that we were ready to leave. ND us got great service though. The group at the table behi

I would have given more stars but not going to lie the loaded fries not so load well sort of it definitely was loaded with lots of salt I should've ordered salt with fries on the side but the service was very good though.??

Some of the best brunch service I've had in a while! Great portion sizes, very friendly staff, quick service. Nice place.

Service is terrible. They make you stand in the lobby without acknowledging you for 10 minutes and then when they are ready to take your name they then tell you it's going to be 20 to 25 minute wait after you just watched 4 different groups of people leave and multiple tables are available. Server running around but not really accomplishing anything

The staff was great. Even being super busy they were still super attentive and took great care of us.

Not very impressed. My child's Mac-n-cheese was boxed macaroni. The chicken fried steak was small, ordinary, and nothing special. Meatloaf was terrible. Prices way over priced for the quality. Place was nice tho, staff friendly, environment was good, but quality to dollar, was terrible. Won't be going back

Food was amazing and the service was quick! Seating took a little longer than expected, but it was right after the lunch crowd, so we completely understood. They were very communicative with us and kept us updated.

First of all I want to say that Black Bear Diner is my jam. I have always had great experiences, and absolutely amazing food. So when we were on our way back down the hill from snow country and saw a Black Bear Diner we thought nothing of it, and we're looking forward to it.First thing, this restaurant is LITTLE. Hands down the smallest I've seen of this chain. We also didn't see any tables - only booths. And they were very small booths. So beware of you have any girth to ya.It being a holiday (New Years) we figured that there would be a bit of a wait. We arrived at 11:45 and there was a 30 minute wait. No problem, we've had worse. So we are seated after waiting (we will call it 12:15) and are asked if we want drinks. We order our refreshing beverages and when they are brought to us also ask for straws. The straws, alas never arrived. Not a huge deal, so we let it go - they were busy. We order our food. Our waitress never checks on us, no drinks refilled, etc. We can see the cook line from where we sit and can see orders up and some sit there for several minutes before being retrieved. At 12:50 we see our order up on the line. Our waitress was helping a couple of other tables - they were busy. She eventually gets to our food and we are served at 1:00...an incomplete order. We request the missing items and she eventually gets them for us. And one of the ingredients that we asked to not be on the plate, had made it on the plate. Didn't want to make a huge deal - they were busy.We eat our meal fairly quickly, call it 1:20. We hadn't ordered anything huge. And we wait for the check. And wait, and wait...I keep trying to get our waitress to notice us, but she's tending to other tables and refilling coffee to other tables. Eventually I just ask another waitress walking by if we can get our check...and we get it at 1:35. But again - they were busy.We go up to pay and the one cashier is chatting with a gal who is paying so we stand and wait. Others stand to pay and then others come through the door to be seated. We eventually pay and leave 1:45.Clearly, they were unprepared and frazzled from how busy they were. Don't get me wrong, they were all absolutely delightful ladies. Smiles and all. I have nothing bad to say about attitude or personnel. The food was good too. I'm thinking they are short staffed or something. As are most places in the industry unfortunately.I can only speak for my dining experience and it wasn't great.
