Cannot say enough amazing things about this restaurant. The tamales, freshly made cheese, the beans, and the rice are to die for. I refuse to eat beans and rice from any other restaurant.
My personal favorite is the chicken Burrito with everything Rice and Beans....??As per my brother the Egg and Bean Burrito? is outstanding...? Can't forget extra salsa on the side.
Went there for the tamales. Best tamales I’ve had, as well as the beans. YUM! Not only is the food great, the staff there are SUPER nice and friendly! I didn’t get a chance to take photos, but I will when I go back there this weekend.

I only ordered tamales because I heard they were excellent and I didn't have time to make them this year for Christmas. My family has been buying masa from Sonora for many years. In my opinion they had too much masa and on the dry side. The service could be better but I don't think they have any motivation to improve. They had a steady flow of customers. They suggested I call first to confirm if my tamale order was ready. Since I was driving from SGV, I did call and got confirmation that they were ready. When I got there, they weren't. Had to wait an hour extra. I'll still buy masa from here and will likely try another food item. As for tamales, no.
Great carnitas burrito w everything and horchata. They do charge $1 extra if using a card. They were busy for a Saturday post lunch. Authentic.

Today is Friday Nov 5th and it's our first time here. The food was absolutely amazing. I got the wet asada burrito and my bf ordered a regular asada burrito. Delicious! I would have given 5 stars however the young girl at the register was pretty rude.
Been going since I was a child. Great food, nice people.
