5 star for food quality and taste. 2 stars for service. After waiting 45 mins in the line for a seat, we were unattended for almost about 30 mins, had to literally get up and call the waiter to take out order. Food was amazing, but without the service it isn't any good.
This time we tried their Mother's day set menu with idli, vada, Pongal, upma, halwa and dosa. The chutneys were, as always, excellent and so was the sambar. What was different this visit was that service was much faster. We were glad to see that. Food wise we have always enjoyed it here. No complaints there!
If you're looking for the best fresh dosas in southern California this is your place to go. They used to have a menu item called na po masala Dosa that was stuffed with paneer, bunch of veggies, masala potato stuffing and more that they recently discontinued that I am disappointed about. Hope they bring that back because it was my most favorite item. Otherwise clean and attentive service from the waiting staff it's worth the wait for the food!
Exceedingly long wait times.They are severely under staffed.The staff is over worked and to top it off they are not given tips . We ordered just idly and dosa for which we waited more than an hour. Lost our appetite by the time food arrived. Only thing good about the food was the quantity, taste not so much. This place can be better if management takes the negative feedback in stride and work on improving things.

Great place for all kinds of dosa and even North Indian food. The South Indian dosas are very original and true to what they are. One best thing I hope they never change is that their portion sizes are just amazing. You really enjoy the portion size and the taste of the food you get for what you pay. Amazing place. Must go.
Is it possible to not even give a star?This place is too over hyped. It didn’t reach the expectations i had.Honest opinion: i got really excited to try out their podi dosa, and ordered 2 types of dosa’s with podi and idly as well.Honestly 4 people can share one dosa, since the quantity is huge. But the taste wasn’t that great. It was half cooked and i can see the uncooked batter here and there . Too much of butter and too much of podi spoiled the taste. Overall the taste and food is average.Worst part: the tips we give goes to the management.
If you want to experience the worst customer service you can visit this place. Very poor quality staff ad service. I had to wait more than a hour for one Dosa. Then to I didn't got one. They don't care about the customers. Even the food quality is not worth waiting for an hour. Poor sitting arrangement, in times of pandemic forget the 6 feet distance , tables are so close to each other it gets difficult to stand without bumping into other. They really need to work on their Customer management skills.
Very exceptional food quality and service. The staff was very kind, patience and very hard working. They helped us and took care of us despite being short-staffed.The only reason for 3 star is that they charged 18% gratuity which WAS NOT SHARED among the waiters but goes to management.
The food is great. Definitely try the noodles and the Amravati biryani and Gongura biryani. I had the Chilli garlic Chicken noodles and it was so freaking good. And it was spicy too. So if you cant handle spice then do mention it before hand. The default setting of this restaurant is on Spicy. I like it so no complains. And the quantity is alot. So if you get one order of noodles then its is basically for 2-3 people. So order accordingly. And they are a busy restaurant so order atleast 45mins before you want you food.Last try the Podi too. I love the Kerala Nadan podi. Absoluty reminded me of India. So good.
