Being a Hyderabadi myself and having eaten in the authentic pista house this place is no where close to the place. Horrible horrible food with no salt and no spice. Service is terrible. Haleem tasted super bad. If you are looking for authentic Hyderabadi food and Haleem then this not the place. Food is 1/10 and service is 1/10
Food was ok. Customer service was good though they are lack of workers. It seems to be an universal problem.Only couple of servers but they took care of customers well.We ordered Vijayawada chicken biryani, hyd dum chicken biryani, egg biryani and paneer biryani with Chilli chicken.Food is not spicy and kids liked it.
Briyani was fresh. But two more chicken dishes I ordered tasted like from the freezer. If you sell fresh food, you will get more customers. Otherwise your restaurant will disappear soon. We don't need to come to your restaurant to eat food warmed up from the freezer. You cannot fool the customers.
This review is based on service. I haven’t even tasted their food. I placed one order of Haleem at 6:45PM and was planning to pickup at 7:30PM. This gives themwhole 45 minutes to ready my order. I reach there at 7:30PM and had to wait 5minutes for someone to come out of kitchen and attend me. The person finally comes out and tells me that they never received the order. As I was in a hurry I didn’t get a chance to wait and pick up. Confirm 10 times before picking up the order
The lady at the checkout register was very nice and friendly but she didn't have any cash at the register so i she asked if i have the exact cash amount to pay.She told me the food is milde spice but it was extremely hot.The chicken biryani did not have any chicken. I think I should change the name to Rice biryani. Then yes it was extremely expensive.I visited so many Pakistani Indian restaurants and I usually always pay between 8 and 12 for a really good chicken biryani. It was 18 dollars at this place and no chicken!!!!I'm never coming back again
4 Stars for the taste2 Stars for the price.A Biryani I ordered was 13.99 on their website, but while i went there to pay, it was 17.51 with taxes. And I ordered at 1.05 PM, reached there at 1.51 PM, the lady at the counter says they didnt receive the order.I had to wait for another 25 mins to get the order made.I understand the inflation issues, but a solid 30% price change is not right, not going back there.and come on Lassi is 5.99 ?Give me a break !
We had Vegetable Briyani at Pista House yesterday. One of the best Briyani ever . Spoke to the owner of Pista House and he said they believe in making fresh and healthy food options . All their items are fresh and tasty. .
Not a fresh food, value less place.I don’t want to take my family here again.
I enjoy having Nizami biryani from here . My only issue is when they take the orders through phone they get confused with biryani we are ordering and instead of one biryani I get some other biryani. Biryanis are amazing and appetizing
Good biryani outside of NYC is really a treat. Our chicken Hyderabadi biriyani was very tasty. The chicken was over cooked, but I it was quite delicious. Will have to try this again!
