So delicious I love Omar’s Kitchen the food is so fresh
I have been coming here on and off with my family since this restaurant first opened some years ago. I no longer reside in the area, so when I happen to be visiting, I never pass up an opportunity for this incredible food.Sitting near the corner of a rather nondescript strip mall is easily the best Chinese food in the greater Long Beach metropolitan area. This is a family run operation, so it doesn't get much better than this when it comes to supporting small businesses. Walk inside and you will be delighted - the interior is proudly decorated with symbols of their uighur heritage. True to form, the food is entirely halal so you won't find any pork on the menu. May I recommend the succulent and freshly prepared lamb dumplings dipped in a mix of two parts vinegar one part soy sauce? I've literally not had anything on a menu that I didn't enjoy. I'm partial to the uighur specialties but even their take on Chinese American classics such as Kung Pao chicken, fried rice, and beef and broccoli will leave you wanting more. Five stars, would give it ten if I could.
Excellent food, prompt service, very clean, perfect ambience with a unique touch of the Uyghur culture. Have been here a couple times before but first time with family. One bit of suggestion, if you are a big family, call or come early, like atleast an hour before closing time.
Great experience. Service was prompt, even though they are in need of staff and looking to add actively.There are a lot of choices on the menu. Everything we tried was wonderful. Mongolian beef, orange chicken, vegetable fried rice, lamb kabab and hot and sour soup. Everything has it's own unique taste. Everything looked and tasted fresh.The place itself is pretty good size with lots of seating. It was clean and tidy.Would recommend to others.
This place is a diamond in the rough! It's family run, husband and wife, they are so nice and always welcoming. The food is absolutely amazing! It's hard to say which dish is the best because anything you get is delicious! I recommend the big plate chicken with noodles, the lamb skewers, salt and pepper fish. The big plate chicken is my favorite but limited, first come first serve and takes roughly 30 mins to make. Call ahead to make sure it's available. Talking about the food is making me hungry!And Always, Thank You for the Food!
Good, clean food. Their bread (roti) is delicious! Service can be better. Easily accessible from the freeway.

Excellent halal Chinese/Ughyur food. We've eaten here 3x now and each time was excellent. If you are dining in, the seating is very minimal so a big party should call ahead. The staff is super kind and works hard to make sure you enjoy your experience. If you arrive early, order the hand pulled noodles, very different than any pad Thai or other noodle you've had. Authentically Ughyur. Everything we ate was delicious and came out relatively quick. Will definitely be back.
Get the lamb with hand pulled noodles. Its a unique and delicious dish. If you can tolerate spice you may also consider trying the jalepeno lamb which is also very good.
