I do NOT recommend this place. Here’s why...So we went to this place today.. first of all let me tell you if you’ve eaten at NanKing in NYC or NJ etc.. I do not think this is the same chain, they have the similar name.. but the Menu and food seems like a Nepali version of Nanking. We ordered samosas, spring Rolls, chicken lollipops (the worst on their menu) and Malaysian lo mein. Only the samosas were really awesome! The chicken lollipops was -0 on a scale of 1-10 (10 being best), the rest two dishes were just 1 out of 10. Food Looked sad and one step from being stale. If you’re a mumbaikar craving Bombay Chinese food like I did, I wanted to eat chicken lollipops, sadly this is not the place at all! The chicken lollipops were just flour and color coated deep fried.. no sauce on it.. I couldn’t eat it after a small bite, and it looked gross.Anyways, I gave 2 stars because: 1 is for the samosas, and the other 1 is because the manager was polite enough to accept my criticism and not charge me for the lollipops as I returned the dish after just one bite.I forgot to take pics.. by the time I remembered, I just had this lo-mein.
Not Good. Not worth the money. Food prices super high .Portion super small. Plus they seem to be racist as well. On Table with 2 people they offered super less for the portion sizes. On the side table. same order same dish 2X the size overflowing the plate, totally not fair when u pay the same priceFeel cheated and ripped off. DON'T GO
We visited this place as we were really hungry and opted this place as this is right next to Indian grocery store. I like the vibe and ambience and also liked the food. Just that I felt the food had really strong masala and garlic flavor, may be I should have asked for a mild flavor. Too much oil, of course this was expected from Indo Chinese though. However even thought I liked the food, I can’t have this regularly as I feel like it’s hygienic, but…I did enjoy the food.
Horrible service!!! Do not recommend this place. Waited more then one hour for my food, asked our server several times on order ETA. No acknowledgement what so ever. So 1 1/2 wait time, I ended up leaving with no food. This place is ran by unprofessional staff and management. Stay away!!!
Horrible service! 40 mins for just Manchurian is insane to me. Taste was meh too, overcooked and lacked th authentic indo chinese flavor. Veg momos are okaish - too chewy for freshly cooked momos.
Absolutely amazing . Authentic Nepali food.Momo ? were absolutely delicious so was the Hakka noddles, pan and ☕️
So it’s Christmas Eve and we order all veg order. We went for pick up our order and they give us order after 5 min by calling our name. We paid for order and left from store. All guests are waiting for food and we reached home and find out that we received order totally different. Called them and ask them to deliver our correct order so they said you can pick up your order and even they don’t say sorry that they made mistake or anything. They told i am owner and i can’t give you refund for order. We got all non veg item and how can we eat that when we are vegetarian. Can’t believe how pathetic and rudely they speak where they made mistake and told us do whatever you want to do we cant give you refund . I am owner of nanking bisnu or saab saheb. Please Don’t be rude with customer when you made mistakes.
This place needs a special mention. Indo-Chinese food joints are popular back in India not because its a separate cuisine, but also the variety of food that they offer all under one roof. You will find the same execution here. Almost all Indian restaurants will offer you the same dishes under different names and you wont try half of them next time. This place has always satisfied us every time. You can find momos and sizzler (names are different in the actual menu I think but using our old-school names for easy reference). Tandoori and other Indian dishes are available. Methi Chicken is the latest that we have tried here and is delicious.
I'm a big foodie!I can appreciate when restaurants put in the efforts and do their best yet something goes wrong! I can also appreciate food that may be presented good, but may lack the taste or say vice-versa. However when every opportunity is missed... Here is what happened...I order food to-go.The food took a lot longer than suggested it will take over the phone. They messed up on my order and called me 10 minutes after I left and asked me to come back to pick up something they didn't add in my order. When I got home the quantity of the food was half of what you'd get if you order in person but I paid the same price. There were 2 dishes that were missing. There was no effort in presenting the food.I ordered, 1 Gobi Manchurian (wet) 2 Gobi Manchurian (dry), fried rice, sweet corn soup, manchaw soup, haka noodles and American chopisue.Neither of the dishes looked like what they should. For 2 I don't know what they looked like since I never got them. The flavor was anything but what you'd expect for those dishes to taste.I paid a premium price to order food to go, did not get what I wanted, food tasted anything but what's expected, Quality of food was stale and inconsistent. Overall, I had a very horrific experience here! What boggles my mind, is they have Indo-Chinese in their name, yet, the food quality, taste or presentation feels like a novice's attempt to cook for the first time!I would NOT recommend this spot! :-(
They are a pretty good restaurant. The food most the time comes out on point. They didn't seem to have any of the drinks we wanted so that was a little annoying. Otherwise place is great. Enjoy and try some solid Indian Chinese
