Went with family and had terrible experience.. we ordered idly which is very hard, bland and the chutneys are very bad. Mint chutney is the worst I ever had it’s kind of a paste of mint, utthapum didn’t cook properly. It’s just a waste of money, never visiting again
Great koththu—as good as the Sri Lankan one (maybe better)! We love eating the shrimp and fish curry too. Obviously the place is known for the dosas and they’re pretty great too. The whole atmosphere of the place and the attention we received from the staff was impeccable. For the past week I’ve been here at least three times and even when the place is busy the quality of the food and the service never faltered.
Garlic Naan, Matar Paneer and for dessert Gulab Jamun. Not the first time I've been here, but this is the first time I didn't have Dosai. And the shops near by are fun to browse!
Even though it's s small restaurant, the food is great and filling. Mr.Mohamed was extremely helpful and humble ?. This was my first time today. I took my mom for a birthday treat!! She enjoyed it as well. A very friendly atmosphere too. Thankyou Mr.Mohamed. God ?!! We will return ?
Authentic South Indian food that we found to be fresh and tasty. Especially the spicy chutney with idly and dosas is a must try. Every other south indian dish we tried was yummy! Thanks to chef Hasan.
Great food. All the breakfast items we ate were really tasty - 3 different types of dosa, idly, vada. Sambar was amazing. And the best thing the owner was very friendly. We were visiting on our way back to WA. Will be here again when we get a chance.
Ordered one round of dosas for our party of 5 which were good, after which we ordered 3 plates of bisibele bath which we were told would take 15 mins to come out. It took over an hour for the “bisibele bath” to come out and it wasn’t even bisibele bath, was just their sambhar mixed with white rice. No clue why it took over an hour for them to mix sambhar with white rice, stick to ordering dosas only at this place.
Nice South Indian food! If you need chennai authentic sambar this is the right place! Well priced and quality and tasty food!
Best ghee roast masala Dosa in Cerritos. Definitely try it if you like south Indian food
Good service and clean. I want to support all small businesses after the pandemic era. However, food supersedes everything in a restaurant, and unfortunately the food here is really terrible. The dosa was completely soggy and the batter had no taste. The sambar was also tasteless. As was the coconut chutney. Even a roadside stall in Chennai would have better tasting food.
