The best Indian food I’ve had yet? We lived in Fremont, CA before and We had delicious Indian food there until we checked out this place! The only thing I wouldn’t order again is salty lassi which is super salty I cant finish. The rest is so yum ??
Must returns here to try more from their menu. Their paneer masala was delicious, would definitely order it again. Parking can be a bit tedious, but once you're there you won't be disappointed with the food or service.
Happening place, they have a seating arrangement outside on the sidewalk as well. Food is flavorful and fresh. Service is friendly but need improvement.
Anniversary dinner... We always choose Indian cuisine for our 1 on 1 dinners because we enjoy it more than our kids.Veggie korma is our go to dish but it was only soso here tonight. The peas were slightly under cooked and the flavor was not as buttery and creamy as other kormas we've had at other restaurants. We also had the saag paneer which was ok but had a tangy aftertaste. The goat curry was all bones and fat but the flavor was average and not gamey. The rice costed more than the naan which I thought was weird. Our server was very nice but forgot the citrus we requested and didn't come back to check if we needed water... There were 2 large parties of 8 though so...
Amazing authentic Indian cuisine. They ask how spicy you'd like the food. I got everything spiced as it normally is. They give you a lot of food and there is a lot to choose from. The people are nice, helpful and welcoming. The atmosphere is nice too. It's definitely a place I'll go back to.
This restaurant is downhill now. We are customer from last 8 years but I think it's time to stop visiting this place.Customer service is worst here now.Our server today afternoon was "John" dated 2/19/22.Gave us some much attitude while taking order. When we requested to repeat the order as he was not attentive while taking the order. He was not ready to even repeat the order and started rolling his eyes. We had to ask is there any problem in repeating the order. Its hard to explain how we have been treated by this server as it was worst. Can't imagine how this restaurant is hiring and retaining these kind of people who doesn't know anything about Customer service. As other reviewers explained - few common problems in this restaurant these days:- They forget the items ordered- Requested spice levels doesn't matter- Slow Service- Quality and authenticity becoming questionable- Hospitality is taking the back seat hereWe used to love coming here and liked to have small chats with the owner. Even we recommened this restaurant to many of our relatives, friends. But all the good stuff seems coming to end from our last 4-5 repetitive experiences. We would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone to waste money, ruin your mood and to eat non-authentic Indian food.
The food was fine, not the best or worst Indian I've had but it was some of the slowest and least efficient service I've had in a restaurant in general.First our server forgot to put our order in and apologized and offered a discount and that would have been fine if that was all, people make mistakes and they were pretty busy.I'm trying to figure out if we was the only server and also covering inside or what because before that he was slow and after that he was still slow and when our food did finally come he took forever to check on us.The weirdest thing was that other people checked on us and asked us if we needed things, which we did, but they never brought us the things we needed after they asked so maybe they were just going and telling our server to get us what we were missing? For example, they forgot the rice and the person who brought us our food offered to get it for us but never did.Another man asked us if we needed anything when we were done and sitting for a while and we asked for boxes to take food home. That guy didn't bring us boxes but a good ten minutes later our server showed up and asked us if we needed boxes. He then counted that we would need three and returned with only two.I get a restaurant being busy but I felt like I was constantly waiting for service even when our server was outside where we could see him and talking to other customers. The people to our right were in the same boat and kept flagging him down to ask for things.Maybe it was an off day, maybe just that one server sucks but I do know that there are an insane number of Indian restaurants on this street and unless somebody twisted my arm I think this experience has made it so that I would visit literally all of them before going here again and giving them another chance.
Food is nice. Specially we like tandoori chicken.Staffs are nice and the place is no ice and clean. But in the request to my the cook is please use less food colors. That's the be reason deducted one star.
What an enjoyable service of delectable food! If you want a small variety, I recommend getting a Thali. I wouldLd even suggest the Ashoka the Great Thali that comes with Chicken Tandoori. So delicious!!
Food was delicious! And customer service was great. Our waiter Vidhi is very nice. We will definitely be coming back.
