Hawaiian Barbeque Poke

This place is amazing. Whomever is cooking in the back is a god. I got The Monoa with macaroni. It was the tastest and softest meat! My husband got the crispy salmon. He couldn't even stop himself! We definitely will be coming back soon. Hands down the best place for Hawaiian BBQ.I also note, they did forget a item. Specifically a Teri Masubi but were kind enough to give it to us without any hassel. So I would suggest just checking your bag before you leave, other then that they were awesome with very kind service.Couldn't get any photos, we were to hungry to wait! Can wait to see you again!

The food is really good here! Mac salad is bomb! Service is friendly. Expect a little wait, bc the food only starts cooking once you order it. With it though! We always order the Momona.

Stopped by here to pick up some food on the way back from taking care of business. They were doing togo anyways so it worked out. I wanted to try so many things but was already pretty full. I got their beef ribs plate, quarter pounds of ahi tuna and salmon poke, and last their loco moco. The plates are pretty big, usually comes with the protein on top of like 2 scoops of rice. A small handful side of macaroni salad and a pinch of salad. I definitely wanted to try their breakfast stuff like Portuguese sausages or even their pork (I’m assuming it’s shredded or pulled pork). I’d come back here but let me say overall it was good but definitely id rate it as beef ribs plate, poke, and then the loco moco plate. Beef ribs were big not like where it’s not like the small individual Korean style kalbi, similar type marinade with a bit of sweetness, but rather like the big one rib bone type short rib style. It comes in about 3 big short rib bones. Definitely have to get messy and dig in but it’s was nice and tender so you won’t struggle that much. On each plate combos the rice is seasoned with possibly seaweed and other stuff but it’s nice. The macaroni salad has a bit of sweetness, any more would ruin that dish but it’s nice. The salad has a bit a dressing but it’s only like a pinch/one hand grab amount. Overall would come back.

Loco Moco with a spam musubi

Good food and friendly staff

Ordered BBQ Chicken and Katsu combo..Katsu was cold and not fresh and BBQ tasted like it was cooked yesterday..Buddy ordered beef ribs...Microwave fresh...and just shy of $20 each....not sure what happened but I won't be back.

Food is great and customer service has always been great with the ladies up at the front. I always call in to place orders for pick up here but today I called twice with no answer 10/2/21. There were 3 men working the floor today between 4 and 4:30 when I went in. I was forced to drive in and wait for the food to get prepped all because they were ignoring the phone. While I was there the business received 2 calls and no one bothered to pick it up. That's a 0/5 stars on service. You're losing potential business and it's just plain rude. A simple please hold goes a long way instead of ignoring a customers call

Awesome food, great service and even better people. Everyone needs to eat here!

Since visiting California and getting introduced to Hawaiian cuisine I’ve been spoiled by the BBQ that’s always accompanied by creamy macaroni salad. Still need some recommendations for some poké spots if anyone has some hidden gems! ANYWAY - 808 was a place one of my friends had stumbled upon on their way home and could NOT stop raving about the ribs. The Beef Ribs; if you haven’t had the pleasure of gnawing on one yet, are gigantic dinosaur bones that- when done right, end up being fall off the bone juicy. Each eatery has their own accompanying sauce to drizzle over.Island Beef Ribs - ($12.55) - dollar per pound value is definitely killer here. It’s a heavy plate and they do not skimp out on the meat at all. My plate was delivered with 5 delicious bones that were all hefty boys with an abundance of meat that was cooked SO good. Their sauce seems to be just glazed and basted over as there was no additional added sauce which made the last few bones come up a little dry. Maybe ask for extra sauce on the side if you’re aiming to get this plate. Salad - decent. The macaroni salad was also yummy. I’d probably go back just for that side tbh.Musubi - (2 for $5.50) - We ordered a Teriyaki Spam and the Spam n’ Egg; both were yummy, great startup appetizers. I mean, it’s spam, there isn’t anything bad to say here. Aside from the fact that if you only get 1 musubi it comes out to like $3 so they’re a little pricier on the side of it’s rice and spam wrapped with half a sheet of seaweed. ?Dollar to dollar value with the plate was a hell of a deal and we left happy and full! I liked the flavors of the teriyaki so I’d definitely head back over there for more of their plate combinations!

Excellent Hawaiian food including fresh poke. Service was friendly.
