Horrible treatment at this restaurant. We went last night and arrived at around 8:20 PM. The restaurant hours are posted on google as closing at 9:00 PM. A hostess came to greet my wife, my son and I. She looked at us up and down and told us that the restaurant had just served their last meal at 8:15 PM. I do not know if we didn’t look rainbow enough or not Asian enough for her. Either way it was disrespectful and a disgusting way to treat customers. I have never been to a restaurant that advertises a specific closing time but you better get there an hour early to order your food or you won’t get in. We are not from California and we will never come back to this horrible restaurant.
NEVER. AGAIN. AVOID!!! I’ve been coming here my whole life. Every birthday. Every rehearsal dinner. Every graduation. Every single big event. Called and made a reservation for after my daughters graduation. Told the man we were coming after 6pm graduation so I was thinking 7-7:15pm. He put me down for 7 and said no problem. So we head to the restaurant at 7:15pm but called them to say we were on our way and THEY CANCELLED MY DAUGHTERS GRADUATION DINNER RESERVATION. AND THEY DIDN’T CARE AT ALL AND WERE RUDE TO MY FAMILY. SO incredibly rude and just kept stating that all reservations are canceled after 10 minutes. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. AVOID. ITS NO LONGER A FAMILY ORIENTATED BUSINESS.
My food was absolutely amazing. Beef sashimi and spicy tuna tartare, we'll definitely be back again, customer service could use a little friendliness but fair pricing and good atmosphere.
One of my favorite places to eat dinner! The Japanese food is Delicious! Great way to celebrate a special occasion! The service here is excellent! The food is expensive but worth the price and atmosphere!
Staff was very friendly. We had a last minute walk in and they welcomed us in. We were heading to a more known restaurant which was a 2 hour wait. I quickly found this place by accident and it was the best choice
Don’t bother with this place for lunch. They offer a two and three item combo but you can only have one of each item. Want two orders of steak or chicken, your out of luck.1star for stupidity and poor customer service.
It was my 42 Birthday and had a reservation for 7 at Dinner. Due to traffic I was 10 min late when I tried checking in the Hostess pretended she couldn't find my name and was scrolling up and down the tablet as she was trying to stall. She then said since I was 10 min late I would have to wait an extra 20 min for my part to be seated. As we waited a male worker came to me and said that my party would not be seated since we were now 15 min late and had given away our table away. The guy was rude and made us leave. I told him it was my Birthday but had no sympathy for my guests and I. I promised him a bad review... and here you have it.
Not as good as it used to be..food not as flavorful.. Didn't like that they packed the tables with people.
Lots of shortcuts. Vegetables are frozen and not chopped fresh. Sad Koi fish outside.
Great place good authentic atmosphere. I love Teppan grill this high ony list to the left pic is theSanta Anita Derby plate and the right wako wako plate shrimp And steak the fried rice so delicious the fish taste so good and clean. I wish they had alittle bit better and cooler cocktails like some other places
