Stopped in for some lunch as nobody wanted to wait to go somewhere else. Pleasantly surprised food was tasty not expensive, staff was very friendly.
First time at Cafe and it didn't disappoint tried the breakfast burrito with green salsa ? very good, excellent customer service
A very strange assortment of food at ok prices but thankfully it tasted great. Beautiful ambiance. Very under staffed. They needed at least two more people so that the employees weren't so stressed out. Shame on management for poor scheduling! Don't cheap out on labor! That and the weird assortment of food is why I gave it a 4 star rating. The employees were wonderful and kind.

I LOVE this sweet little cafe! I'm thinking about buying a membership at The L.A. Arboretum just SO I can come here for lunch or coffee whenever I want! The place is small; the menu is limited, but for me, it's all about the views! And oh, does this place have THE VIEWS!! It's also got WiFi if you need it, and A/C - which we definitely need in the Summer & Fall!I do MISS the former "Self-Serve" bar with extra mayo, mustard, plasticware, etc. I was chagrined to have bought a sandwich, taken it outside to a table, then having to wait in line (AGAIN) just to obtain these things my sandwich needed. But I've had lunch off their grill before, and it was always delish!I as glad to see they've re-opened the inside for dining, as we'll all be needing that as soon as it gets hot.
Pretty impressed, we stopped in on our visit to Arboretum. Great outdoor eating patio with peacocks always walking around. The hamburger and salad we ordered were yummy and the lemon slush was really tasty! Good service too, will happily eat here again.
Great customer service and lots of peacocks. Just be careful of said peacocks eating your food.
Expensive as all commercial eating places at botanical gardens, zoos, entertainment areas are but..the peacocks walk through at will, stretching their necks to peer at tops of tables, hoping for snacks. One scored a large crust and had to sprint around with his companions in hot pursuit.
On your next visit to the Arboretum make sure to stop by the Peacock Cafe for a snack or lunch. They serve a host of tasty hot or cold items...And the owner, Nicki, and her staff are awesome!
Great food, friendly and helpful staff. Just attended a wedding reception catered by them - everything was well prepared and delicious from the salmon to the Oreo milk shakes!
