This review will be a bit unfair as I ordered the teriyaki chicken instead of sushi, however the rice was not good (dry) and the teriyaki sauce was like a water based sauce or something not much favor. $25 for meh teriyaki chicken dose not seem worth it.
I am no avid fan of sushi; I typically avoid Asian cuisine. However, my friends wanted to try sushi while we were in LA so I volunteered to go. Based off their reactions, I would say the sushi was pretty good here. I enjoyed the hurricane roll pictured here. It was so crunchy and the sauces were great.
My daughter and I went here because Kyosuzu was crowded. Everything is fine here but it is way overpriced for the quality of the sashimi. $32 for Hamachi sashimi? Ouch!
I loved how their sushi has half the rice than most other place. Allows you to really taste and appreciate the fish and not be too full, so you can try more! Warning: Dishes are smaller than they look in the pictures.Not too impressed with sweet shrimp though. After having one that was still kicking at a different restaurant, nothing can beat that.
My go to place for fresh uni and good food. Uni here is amazing, beats many omakase restaurants out there!!! Oysters too. Nice and sweet, and super refreshing. I probably come here 3 times a week.

Everything is good. The fish is fresh.
I have to say we only went here after the place we were planning was full. We saw the reviews and we're let down. We got rolls so maybe that was the issue idk but the tablet to see the menu was dirty, towels on the floor into the kitchen? I probably don't want to know the purpose for these. Staff was very friendly just no reason to come back
Very good sushi and nice spot in a cramped little strip mall.
Staffs are busy and couldn't take care well of individual customer needs. It took them a while to notice us for order, for extra water service, even for check out. They also miss our miso soups, but we're ok without it since the food portion is decent.
