This place is best for fresh Mexican food. Don't let the humble front fool you. The food is very well made, and the people who work there are very polite, and professional.
I heard a sad rumour that something happened to the owner. I went by the place to see if they were still open and front door and one of windows is boarded up. This was my go to place for masa for tamales. I pray that the owner and family are okay ??
Best small location for Mexican food in the area. Only a few tables to sit and eat but this is not why you come. You come here to pick up quality, flavorful and delicious food to take back home and enjoy. Everything I have tried is amazing, especially the carnitas. The salsa is so good with the perfect amount of heat and their chips are thick, rich and perfectly salty. I highly recommend calling ahead to place your order but if it’s your first time take in the small hole in the wall appeal and be delighted with the delicious food.
My family was one of their first customers in baldwin park. I remember going there at 5 years old. Food is so good. Wish they had a bigger place to dine in. Maybe one day?
Talk about great old fashion authentic food. DELICIOUS!!! We've tried quite a few items and have NEVER been disappointed. The Chicharrone tacos...da bomb! The super nachos... no skimping on carnitas there for sure! The carne Asada burrito... off the chart! Homemade tortilla chips and salsa all by itself is worth it! Check them out. You will definitely not be disappointed!
Their burritos are on special every Thursday 3 for 10, great deal. Take out only. Mementos from their mom are on the wall that started the business , her boys are running the store. Very friendly. Front door or back door has parking, and either for the out. You can call it in.
I'm glad my friend posted a picture of the food. I made the trip, and tried their food. Fries were cooked to perfection. The ground beef tacos are awesome
