It wouldn't be fair to rate this lower the 5 stars. The chicken katsu is best state-side I've had since the #1 spot in Honolulu (Tonkatsu Tamafuji).
This place is super generous with their portions. Great thing is that the food is also really delicious. Chicken katsu is juicy inside and crunchy outside. Fish katsu was alright. Curry is delicious.
Absolutely the best pork Katsu in the region. It’s consistently juicy and flavorful. Not too much bread coating and just as crunchy as you want it.The standard plate comes with THREE huge Katsu and I recommend replace rice with cabbage salad if you like low carb diet. The miso soup is not too salty and is always a great way to start your lunch.

My wife has been telling me to try Kazu Mori. Finally got the chance to try them on Sunday, I ordered the Don Katsu and Cheese Katsu. Oh wow, the portion for Don Katsu is huge, absolutely love it. The Cheese Katsu is also great, you are still able to taste the meat even with the amount of cheese. I will definitely try their other dishes on the menu next time.
Located inside H Mart grocery store, Kazu Nori is truly a hidden gem. They serve various types of katsu and curry katsu in generous portions at a very affordable price. Curry katsu is one of my favorite comfort foods and this place definitely fulfilled my cravings! I love how they package the curry on the side so that the pork stays nice and crispy! The curry is super flavorful and the pork is juicy and crispy. The perfect combination. When I received my food I had no idea how big the portions would be, especially for the curry pork. The curry pork was packed full of delicious pork katsu. Each meal comes with cabbage salad, miso soup, and rice. Talk about making your money's worthLOCATION:This location of place is so perfect because you could go to H-Mart, place your order at Kazu Nori, do a bit of grocery shopping/ just explore the market, and come back to pick up your food once it's done! If you don't feel like waiting you could also call in your order ahead of time. Got the regular Don Katsu ($12.99) and it was delicious! It was the right amount of crispy and seasoned well. It also came in a very GENEROUS PORTION which was almost 3 entire pieces. It is more than enough for probably 3 people to eat. It also came with miso soup, white rice, and lettuce which were all very great to eat with the don katsu. The sauces they gave also tasted really good when dipped with the don katsu. The big serving is totally worth it for the price and I would definitely come back again for more next time!
Great spot for all things katsu. This has been a staple since the COVID quarantine and I've come quite a few times for a quick lunch pick up.Huge parking lot since it's located within a H Mart, but it always feels like the lot is close to/full.If there's a long line to get into H-Mart, the lady at Kazu Mori has let me know to give her a call and she'll step out to deliver the food/get payment so you don't have to wait in line. I haven't gone ahead and tried but thought it was really sweet that she offered.Quality of the food is amazing. My absolute favorite is the pork katsu with curry, but the traditional/base katsus as well as cheese filled katsus all look great as well.
This is a small, family owned and operated shop located inside the local H-Mart. I'm literally eating my food as I type this. It's so freakin' delicious and as of right now has become my go-to spot for chicken katsu. I'm so happy I could come by and support this small family owned business, especially during COVID when they need it the most. I can taste the love in the food. The chicken is thick and yet perfectly crispy on the outside, and the amount of food they give you for the cheap price is insane. The two people working today were so nice that they actually made my day. Thank you for such wholesome, yummy food, and the kindness I experienced today! I will be back!
