Worst ever. Arrived at 835 on a Friday. Closes at 9pm. Plenty of folks seated and eating. However, we were told we could not sit and our only option was to order take out which was insanely frustrating. When we tried to order take out everything we wanted was conveniently "out". We were the only white people on the restaurant so it's unclear if that played a role in their decision making or something else was going on, but really really disappointing experience. Would not recommend going especially if you don't speak Mandarin.
This place made me very happy. Delicious beef rolls and spicy chicken wontons. Also, there is decent parking in the back.
This is a lovely little place. It's clean and the the server was very friendly and helpful. I had a beef roll, which was delicious and dumplings to take home which I'll let you know later but I'm sure they're lovely.
You don't need to go to don't need to go to Din Tai Fung and wait in a line for soup filled dumplings. They got it fresh here with fresh cut ginger. There's also a lot of the great quality dishes here too! food was good.
Came for boba near there and the people referred me to try this Dumpling House.. visiting the city/Area today. So I ordered their dumplings and mushroom and seaweed salads. They brought out the salads but didn’t bring my 2 entrées. They served the 2 big girls that came in after me and yet my dishes still hasn’t come out yet. I wasn’t going to wait another hour for the entreesmain courses so sadly I didn’t get to try their dumplings that the boba place recommended. Idk if I’ll return but they lost business. I’m sure it would’ve been tasty. The fungus salad was amazing!! Better than many places I’ve tried. Lots of garlic just as I liked it. Btw they listed “seaweed” but it is just sea kelp which is better I guess as it has more calcium nutrition.
Great food and great affordable prices. The servers are also very nice and fast. I always order a lot so I can bring the leftovers home since I’m always craving for their dishes
Nice place for some home made style dumplings. The variety of flavors here and menu selection is amazing! Stopped in to try it out to see something different and was not let down! Quick friendly service and wonderful tasting food. Even took some to go for later.
The food might be good (or used to be good), but the people running this place are unfortunately very rude and perhaps greedy. :/ I used to LOVE this place, but just ordered their wonton soup (listed at $6.49 on their online menu). When I called the establishment and ordered, I tried to the confirm the price because I wanted to bring in exact change, but the woman I spoke with very coldly told me to look at the online menu. When I arrived, I was charged $13.00. I questioned this and showed her the online menu and she just rudely said market prices were up and handed me a paper menu which she said had the new price. I was cool with that and figured they just need to update their online menu, until I noticed the paper menu had the wonton soup listed at $9.99. Looks like the folks here are greedy, unprofessional, and will mark any price they darn want...
I love dumplings but this place really disappointed me. First we were greeted really rudly but we didn't mind it at first. Then they got our order wrong and brought us food we didn't order. They proceed to refuse us refund or exchange for a different item. At that point we were ready to leave this place. As we are approaching the car an employee who was so rude ran to our car and made us leave tips for them. It was clear why we didn't leave tips but the employee continued to point at the receipt and say " leave tips".
Delicious dumplings and xiao long bao! Definitely better than waiting a few hours for Din Tai Fong. This is a fairly small restaurant though so if you come during prime meal times you may have to wait a little, but no where as long as going to Din Tai Fong. I'll definitely be back!
