Love the freshness of the ingredients. Not the traditional Baja fish tacos but they're so good and in their own class. Owner is always friendly and happy to help when trying to decide what to eat. Shrimp cocktail is a must try.
First time brought my little family here and had an amazing lunch. We had the large Shrimp cocktail with a side of chips and salsa and fries. They and this special joker sauce that was amazing. Excellent service, that Southern California hospitality you can’t go wrong coming here for fantastic Mariscos ??
Well my family and I went out to try this place and to be honest the service was super slow, but the cashier was super friendly and nice. Now let's talk food, to keep it short my whole family was very unhappy with the food, I honestly think they count the amount of shrimp they serve, I ordered a shrimp burrito and it was filled with nothing but beans and rice and there were only 4 shrimp ?, keep in mind this was a super big 2 people type of burrito and to top it off, all the food my family and I had was flavorless. I don't understand how many of the reviews being left are saying it's a hidden gem when it's definitely far from being a hidden gem ?. My family and I don't recommend this place and I hate to say this but save your money and go somewhere else, the prices are high and the food is far from being authentic and good.
To be honest if you want overpriced, mediocre, salty seafood then come here. also if you get anything with beans and rice you should expect your plate to mainly be that. My stepdad got a shrimp burrito with literally 3 pieces of shrimp in it and the rest was Beans and rice ? yes we counted the shrimp… if your paying for a shrimp burrito you would expect more than three pieces ( plus it was huge ). Also my sister got fish fillet and it was very salty. I got shrimp Diablo it was very spicy but as someone who loves and can tolerate spicy food I know some people would not enjoy it , the flavor wasn’t even all that & again, mainly rice on the entire plate and 10 small pieces of shrimp. 1/10 for the nice staff lol
This place is a hidden gem and a must try. The food was made to order and delicious. We went on our anniversary, and it was just amazing. The fish tacos are something to try for sure!! Not to mention the portions are not small. Give it a shot. EVERYTHING HAS SEASONING!!
Behind a hidden gem of Apple Valley. If only they had more of a sign outside their plaza. Inside environment is cute, staff are extreme friendly and you can tell they’re family owned and take pride in it. Our family has ate their twice and they did not disappoint. Incredibly fresh. Huge portions. Great spot
Service was excellent and the restaurant owner was so kind... however my husband and i did not care too much for the fish tacos.. the fish portions were very flat and small and sort of overdone, we did not like the flavor of the tacos. The Beef Fajitas were ok and sadly they only give you 2 tortillas. We also tried the Bacon and Cheese oysters, they were so so, we felt there was just to much going on in the presentation that we couldn't even taste the oyster flavor. We really loved the salsa and chips.
This is the worse sea food i ever had! The cocktail had too much ketchup and tasted very sweet, 5 shrimps a little octopus and a lot of imitation crab ?!!! They dont even have hot salsas on the table like tapatio , or valentina NOTHING! My dad ordered a caldo de camaron with no vegetables only zucchini’s and shrimp ?? if you looking for authentic Mexican seafood dont go there dont waste your money and time
From trying your Tamales in 2016 to biding goodbye to 2021 with another batch.... and all the years between filled with Fish Tacos, Garlic Shrimp/Fish, Pork Burrito with Green Sauce, learning to love Octopus with your Mixed Tostada or Cocktail, falling in love with your Fish/Shrimp Soup and Paella..... <3 <3 <3.Getting to watch your family grow, not to mention all of your smiles and the warm atmosphere you have all made there... and making it through COVID....all of these are why you deserve to be High Desert's BEST Mexican/Seafood Restaurant every year (Yahoo's too ;) )..Looking forward to when you guys get to go back to real dishes instead of disposable due to COVID. Sorry other reviewers aren't current on CDC's recommended guidelines.... and down rate you (and others) for it.
Had a couple of beers with my daughter and took our meals home . Excellent service during the wait. When we ate our food it was very fresh and delicious. Highly recommend it.
