After departing Victorville, cruised over to Apple Valley, California, found a place to park the camper for the night. Rising early in the morning with the desire to hit the road before the heat, went looking for an eatery for breakfast. Located Mollies Kountry Kitchen on US Highway 18, with its red covered wagon out in front. Different and a unique idea to attract visitors to this establishment. Restaurant is bright, cheerful, and decorated with many different things to keep your attention. Counter, and booths service are available. Menu is extensive, and bit confusing. Lot of items listed but does not specific what comes with each meal. Waitress was extremely pleasant and provided answers to our inquires pertaining to meal items. After reviewing the menu, asking a “zillion questions” settled on the Paul Bunyan Breakfast for myself and the Country Breakfast for my traveling companion. While waiting for our breakfast, enjoyed a cup of coffee and hot tea. After a short wait of approximately 18 minutes, the waitress delivered our two meals to our table. The Country Breakfast consisted of two over easy eggs, 2 sausage patties on biscuits (?) covered with a white country style grave and a helping of hashbrown potatoes. Biscuits looked like and tasted like dinner rolls, A far cry from the homemade biscuits one usually associated with biscuits and gravy. The Paul Bunyan breakfast included scrambled eggs (utilizing 3 eggs), home fries, (fried diced potatoes with onions and green peppers), a large slice of ham, three strips of bacon and 3 sausage links, and a short stack of 3 pancakes. Meat was cooked and seasoned with salt and pepper. Condiments (Tabasco, ketchup, and syrup) were available to spice up your meal if desired. Overall, a tasty and filling breakfast. If you happen to pass through Apple Valley and desire a breakfast meal, this is a convenient location for a quick stop. Prices are reasonable for the quantity of food you receive.

As always excellent food and service. Large portions of great comfort food served by amazing people. Everyone here is kind, courteous, professional, prompt, and friendly. From the minute we walk in until the minute we walk out (every time with go containers because the generous portions of food are way too good to not bring home for a second helping), we are treated like family.Best place in Apple Valley for breakfast, and after we've tried all the breakfast items we can't wait to eat our way through the lunchtime fare. We highly recommend this wonderful homestyle, comfort food place to everybody looking for great food, great service, and a warm friendly atmosphere.

Mollie browns kitchen is by far the best restaurant in the high desert. Their breakfast is excellent best food I’ve ever ate. I recommend mollie browns to anyone that’s never been here .

Love this place for breakfast. However, the hash browns they serve for breakfast are horrible. They are very dry and tasteless. Please do something about your hash browns. Otherwise 5 stars

What happened to the delicious food? I used to tell everyone....you want the best breakfast go to Mollies. Not anymore. The biscuits and gravy taste like pepper and milk. No sausage or bacon flavor. Obviously a processed mix they added milk to. The hash Browns were practically raw....the cook didn't even bother trying to brown them at all....tasted like watery shredded potatoes. Their bacon is still great as well as their sausage. The scrambled eggs were over cooked to the point of turning brown....they should try that on their hash Browns. Eggs should be fluffy. I would not recommend this spot anymore. Which is too bad cause in this small town they used to be known as the best weekend breakfast spot. I think Tom's burgers has risen above Mollies and that's pretty bad. Skip this place until they bring in a new cook....I know I will.

Mollie's is busy and there is a good reason for this. The Kountry Kitchen is a larger version of the Cafe. The menu for the Kitchen and Cafe are the same. It features large portions of comfort breakfast and lunch choices. We had a short wait late Saturday morning, which in thebpastbhas been longer. The booth seating we were given was close and tight. The time to get our meal was reasonable. The server was fairly attentive, under the circumstances since it was very busy.

Food was goood! Especially for the price. The waitress on the other hand could have made us feel way more welcomed than she did. We were rushed our refills 2 of 4 soft drinks were attended to and got eye rolls and scoffs when reminding her that 1 of our 3 coffee were decaf.. but what really got to me was when she poured 1 of the coffees in the middle of the table, right in front of my 2 toddlers and told Them to watch out... Not nicely, just flat out, Watch Out.I figured she had a long morning but honestly, we went in there with such joy and excitement. That is a No when coming to Kids and Pouring Hot coffee over someone! You Do Not Pour Over Someone, Specifically Hot.Now when it came to adding on pie, because I heard they were amazing, she blatantly ignored me, literally more than 4 times. I went through 3 people to try to order all leading back to, you're waitress will take that order for you. Still nothing, finally sister says something to another person and finally, we have pie.

One of the best spots in Apple Valley.I've tried a bunch of menu items and I haven't been disappointed.Pat is one of the best waitresses I've ever had, she's so funny and very welcoming.Definitely recommend.

Great food. Get what you pay for. Around $32 for 2 people but worth every penny. Coffee mugs are good sized so you get more then 2 sips out of them.

We love the food here and some of the service.. We have been coming here for many years.. We came here yesterday (Friday) and we were seated by the young lady with the black and white hair. We asked our male server for another set of silverware, for our grandson, and he proceeded to tell us that our table came with three sets of silverware and he knew this because he looked before seating us. I felt like he was accusing us of stealing his forks and making up lies to justify his rudeness. He was very rude to an elderly man who was having a tough moment getting settled in his booth. I was very disappointed with our service.
