This resturant had been suggested to us so we tried it.Mexican food is flavorful, exciting, bold, and often spicy. Not at El Domingos. We found the food bland which is something Mexican food should never be.Overall critique: Overpriced and not very good. $55 for 2 people was too much. Disappointed.Chips-fresh and crisp.Salsa-good flavor but was very mild.House Margaritas-good not great.Albondigas - Good & flavorfulHouse Fajitas-Bland, underseasoned, and oily.Carne El Pastor - Bland, underseasoned. The meat was marinated too long so the texture was affected. It was served with Grilled Pineapple, these were canned pineapple rings, and if "grilled" means 30 seconds then it is possibly they were grilled.Rice - Bland with uncooked or dried out grains in the rice adding a lot of unexpected crunch.Refried Beans - Texture was good but they tasted like they were made with dehydrated. beans.Guacamole - Texture was good. Flavor is mixed, good at first the a bitter aftertaste, no lemon or ilime flavor.Next was friendly but inattentavie service. Items were not delivered, or wrong items were delivered.
Great food and comfortable atmosphere. I recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family.
Walked in around 1:00 pm wasn't greeted or seated by anyone. Stood around for a few minutes before we sat ourselves still waiting for staff to acknowledge us. Eventually I sent my husband to get someone to help us, was then given chips and salsa had our order drink order taken drinks came quick enough, but no one ever came back to take our order. There were probably about 4 workers visible and only one was helping people. I drank my virgin Pina coloda my husband did not drink his Modelo before he got tired of the being ignored and we paid for my drink and left.
Really good food! I have only eaten here once but it was amazing! I got two shredded beef enchiladas and my husband got a chicken tamale and shredded beef burrito. Both meals had rice and beans on the side. The chicken tamale was the only thing I didn't LOVE. We will definitely eat here again.
Food was okay but the service was horrible. We stood at the front and a waitress walked by without acknowledging us. Once seated, our waitress rarely came out. My husband went to the bar to get service a few times. Toward the end, we waited for a box and no waitress was available to help so we just paid and left the food.
The bald male waiter with glasses (no name tag) is demanding for attention and was very touchy with my fiance. But, the 1 star review is for him trying to be humerous by spitting while naming our drinks and placing them on the table along with the chips and salsa. He's always been loud and blurting out weird things to get himself noticed as this was our third time here. We finally decided to bring our kids for a nice family Valentines dinner and one of them asked us not to bring them back. Not sure if he is mentaly disabled but I drew the line when he literally spat in our drinks/ food in front of us. Thank God I seen it- who knows what he does when nobody is looking!! The food is good but he was very unpleasant.
Had the shrimp fajitas for two. Absolutely delicious. We were served a large portion of fajita along with a full plate of sides. They were busy but well staffed. Enjoyed our dinner. I recommend to anyone craving great Mexican food.
Everything is amazing, the atmosphere the food, the service. Love it so much that it's now became me and my girls place.
I yelped the best Michelada in apple valley and reviews said to come here. Nothing special, no garnishes other than lime slice…I don’t think it was any better than a normal Michelada I’ve had anywhere else. AND I sat at the bar, I wasn’t checked in once, no water offered to me. Told they would bring chips and salsa and by the time I was half way with meal someone came over and asked “you wanted chips right?” I said “not anymore forget it thanks tho” and she just walked away no comment back. Waited for a box and check for a while as I was forgotten about just cuz it was slow at the bar. Doubt I’ll go back
Just tried this restaurant other day and food was excellent. Good service and the best salsa!
