Just got some tacos and I watched how they did it: they were putting all cheese and no lettuce and I was hoping it wouldn’t happen to mine but it DID! There was so much cheese I could’ve made a cheese ball that would perfectly fit in my palm if not bigger and the chicken rollers are all sauce with like three small pieces of chicken at the bottom and all cheese AGAIN!! How do you forget lettuce? You might as well just call yourself Del because you can’t even make a taco. And service is one customer at a time. Rather go to the gas station Del Taco 10/10
Just had the absolute worst service. Waited 20 min for two tacos. For them to tell me that for some reason they didn’t register in the system. Was told they would “make them right away”, and that never happened. Just got a bunch of dirty looks from all of the employees while I waited for the food.. THAT NEVER CAME. 30 minutes later I left. Garbage service and rude employees.
Why such inconsistent lobby hours, it’s hit and miss when you can actually go inside and get help. I’ve given up on the drive thru since last Sunday 5/1 waited for over 30 minutes to get food in the drive thru. My lunch is only 30 minutes. They literally take on order at a time and finish that car before moving on, and makes everyone else just wait. When I worked drive thru for El Pollo Loco, you would have your food in under 1:30 because if I didn’t then we got in trouble. It’s like no one cares anymore at any fast food place, we are still customers even if in drive thru.
Elijah was very rude and took forever taking my simple order. I repeatedly told him what I wanted and he still couldn't get it right. He then caused a near rear end to the person in front of me in the drive through because he didn't give the card back. And made the driver reverse in the drive through and nearly put their rear end into my car. He caused a safety concern for me and my family and overall his service was aweful. We only ordered a simple spicy jack quesadilla which he had me repeat my order 5 times and still couldn't understand. Very bad experience.
For some reason, the recently remodeled Del Taco's in the High Desert area randomly close the dining room during daylight hours. They blame a help shortage, but after many months of them doing this, it is clearly poor management or ownership.
I was being chased down the street by a hyena the size of Godzilla. I sprinted far and found no Taco Bell (a hyena’s natural boost, they obtain flight and explosive projectiles when Taco bell is consumed) Thank full I run into del taco and get a double del with extra pickles (pickles contain a chemical compound that when mixed with mutant hyena spit it makes acid that makes them explode) I threw the double del at the hyena but THE PICKLES WERE MISSING. In panic I order another, with the beast coming closer by the second I was uneasy and concerned that the guy making my food wouldn’t finished in time. The man is working fast, but not fast enough. I heard a large boom and when all hope soon lost, the del taco worker got up from the rumble an threw the burger at the hyena, and exploded it into oblivion.
The worst customer service there. The lady taking orders out on the drive thru had a bad attitude! She's pregnant and was outside taking orders, maybe she had pregnancy symptoms. And the guy at the window handing me our food was also Terrible, he gave us the soda cups and had soda overspille had to tell him to wipe clean our cups, which he did but with a bad attitude. The icing on the cake was the quality of our food, it was not the best I've had from other del tacos I guess the poor customer service affected the food quality.
I go here on and off both day and night and 99% of the time service is fast and the food is fresh.
I don’t expect fast food to be perfect by any means, but I do think my order should be made correctly and fixed if it’s not and this place gave me terrible food that was technically what I ordered just made horribly.. my loaded nachos were chips and a scoop of beans, my deluxe combo burrito was only meat, my fries completely cold and not salted.. I went home and ate half and called the manager and she was the rudest customer service worker I’ve ever had the displeasure to speak with. I’ve worked customer service I know how to deal with unpleasant situations on both ends and she was downright insulting.. I’ll be contacting corporate and never eating here again, it’s worth the extra drive to go to literally any other del taco.
A little thin on the filling of the 2 for $6 chicken burritos but otherwise not bad. I love Del Taco!
