Definitely my kind of homestyle. Real steak fries and pies baked in- house. Friendly service and laid back feel.
First time visiting. Ordered 3-egg plate with sausage patty and banana nut muffin in lieu of toast. Muffin was fresh and served warm. Very nice meal and atmosphere while visiting family. Will look forward to breakfast again when I'm back this way. Thank you for the positive messages scattered along the walls as I took time to appreciate each one.

Please try the banana pie with strawberries on it I can't say enough about how delicious it was. Wish I could have bought one to go but we were leaving town. The food is what you expect nothing fancy but big portions and good for the price.
We got seated very quickly and our drinks and order was taken quickly as well. The food did take a while to get. The food was good. I have a different place that i love for breakfast and i like that place better. This was our first time there. I had the hobo skillet with biscuits and gravy. The skillet was good and the biscuits were very good, the gravy was okay.

Food was ok I had better huevos rancheros it was the poor service that ruined this breakfast for me. My server was not friendly or even courteous at all, even when I needed a coffee refill I had to put my empty cup near the edge of the table and and it stood there for more than 20 minutes, she never smiled, never checked on me and to make things worse when I asked for more coffee she coldy responded when I have a chance so I got up took my cup and went to serve myself and when she saw me coming back with it I told her it's ok I got my coffee myself she again coldly responded ok. It was obvious she was having a bad day but she shouldn't have to take it on customers. I hope management sees this and does something about it.
The service, our waitress was great, friendly and helpful. The food not so great. I had the Santa Fe skillet. It was a lot of food piled on to that sizzling skillet. Potatoes, grilled chicken, eggs onion, bellpeppers and cheese. All of that with absolutely no taste, no seasoning and the chicken was dry and tough. I took most of it home and added seasonings. The chicken was already too over done so I added sausage. I'm a good cook and just prefer my own home cooking.
