Fabulous local restaurant with home cooked food, fresh brewed tea and great friendly service.
Wonderful small restaurant. The service was exceptional and the owners are right there to make everything is perfect every time. The food was wonderful. Had the corn beef and it was great. Biscuits and gravy was also enjoyable.
I never write reviews but I feel like I have to warn other queer people/young people about this experience. Read till the end please. I came here with my friend for her bday. We are both queer and just both look/dress generally gay. As soon as we sat down the waitress immediately grilled us about our vax cards before even saying hello (which is totally fine, I'm vaccinated so I didn't mind showing my card). We showed her, she proceeded to throw the menus down on our table without saying anything. When our food came she didn't even wait 5 minutes until throwing our bill down on the table as well. My friend had barely started her food at that point. I went to use the bathroom, and before I stood up I made sure to find my mask in my pocket and put it on to walk there and also had it on when I walked back to my seat. The same waitress came over and told me I needed to wear my mask when I walk around in the restaurant. I told her that I had been wearing my mask and she aggressively said I hadn't been. I tried to assure her I had been wearing one, showed it to her, and and she kept saying I hadn't over and over attacking me it was crazy. Honestly the whole experience felt really homophobic, because we clearly looked gay and we definitely stood out from everyone else eating at the restaurant; I feel like she immediately had a problem with that because she didn't check anyone else's vax cards when they walked in and didn't give anyone else the same treatment. Seriously don't come here just hella rude for no reason. Also the hot sauce for the food had been expired for a year lol
This place has probably been the best breakfast in antioch for atleast 30 years. Still run by the same 2 ladies as well for as long as I can remember.
Lost business from me and my whole family.. High prices and you have to be vaccinated to eat there.. if vaccinated people can still catch and transmit Covid, why cant unvaxxed eat inside too? Makes no sense..
Great chicken fried steak and friendly service.
Always friendly , Always delicious ? the ladies at Miller's see my favorite. Truly, Kim and Sheri you guys rock! And I had to go gluten free ? they were TOTALLY accommodating!
Got drilled right away about vaccination even though im vaccinated. Wasnt what I wanted first thing in the morning just wanted breakfast. Priorities messed up.
Require vaccine cards even for outdoor dining? Insane.
FOOD Was great best place in town
