I didn't buy anything here but the freshly prepared smoked meats (actually prepared right outside in the parking lot) are amazing to the olfactory nerve. This is a restaurant within the California Car Wash. I will be sampling some if the goodness and eating soon. For now, they get 4 stars just for the delicious smelling smokiness aroma!!
I ordered ribs and chicken, when I got my plate home I had links and chicken. However I know I ordered ribs and chicken because that's what he wrote on the box. However chicken was good. Links seemed to be slightly overcooked green bean good potatoe salad passing grade. Sauce was just ok a bit runny. Cook was very friendly. But I wanted and still have a taste for RIBS.
Excellent food, pleasant service and reasonably priced. Finally, we don't have to drive to Oakland for good barbecue!
One of the guys is my nephew, but the food was delicious..ribs and peach cobbler was the best
Their chicken is really good. Brisket they gave me was nothing but fat. Hot sauce could of been hotter but good taste
By far the best Q spot from the Bay Area to Sacramento, where I regularly drive from to get my grub on. The food is well-worth an hours drive and the portions for the price are outstanding! You are bound to run into a fellow baller, in addition to the ballers that run it, and reminisce about "back-in-the-day". It's well kept, clean, and COVID-19 safe practices ALWAYS enforced. Hey, don't just take my word for it, do your appetite a favor and check it out for yourself! I would add a photo of the food but it NEVER makes it back to Sacramento....I be having rib and greens juice flying all around my ride for real.
