Local spot with decent prices for “meh” quality food. We’ve been here a handful of times and despite some issues in the past we recently decided to give it another try (our preferred breakfast spot was closed so we figured why not). We had ordered a breakfast plate and the scrambled eggs that came with it were wet, mushy, and seemingly undercooked. When the waitress followed up with us she apologized and they took a few bucks off of our order, which was appreciated considering we didn’t end up eating the eggs. I’ve also had an experience here (pre pandemic) where the biscuits and gravy I ordered seemed to have been microwaved. The gravy along the outside of the dish was scorching hot, but the gravy in the middle of the dish was very cold. Probably won’t be going back here due to these issues, however the host and waitresses were very kind when these issues were brought to their attention.

First time dining. The staff are very friendly and always smile regardless of how busy they are. Food tastes delicious, and it has enormous servings for a reasonable price; we surely come back and enjoy their service and food.

This place reminds me of the mom and pop down to earth cafés I grew up with in a small farm town in Illinois. The waitresses like Tammy, who was ours are friendly funny and sassy. Come hungry folks, food is amazing and worth every penny. You and your family won't be disappointed.

I like the owner's they are very polite .l like the food the coffee ☕ but specialy they are very nice ? ? owners .thankyou .?

Wonderful comfort food and friendly service at an amazing price! Would give 5 star if they allowed substitutions and had more vegetable options.

First time back in 15 years! Have to say the food was just as I remembered. Great food, excellent portions and prices that will not break the bank. I do truly appreciate memories.

The servers were so kind and friendly- they greeted every local who walked in by name! I wish I lived nearby just so I could be greeted by name and "the usual today?" And I'd say, "think I'll try something new, Tammy!" But then ordering my favorite again anyways. We started with a homemade cinnamon roll- cause how could we not?! And then both had omelettes with hash browns. They nailed the classic diner, comfort food fare, minus the overwhelming grease. The coffee wasn't great, but they've clearly been know what they're doing with the food and friendly service! ♥️We're definitely going to make it a point to eat here anytime we're passing through town!

Been here for as long as I can remember. Great breakfast not much more you could ask for. Super friendly and welcoming. Great service. Super affordable. There is a reason it's been here my whole life and it will probably be here forever honestly. 10/10
