Very basic. Only really like their garlic sauce and overpriced chicken. Better off buying costco chicken for $5 for a whole one instead of $15 for probably the same thing. The cashier was pretty deaf and couldn’t hear properly, even though you can see their kitchen it is not clean. I recommend only trying this place once. This is like the el pollo loco version of Mediterranean food. Go to some local restaurants nearby for better quality.
I can only comment on the food as I didn't eat inside. The food was good, they make it a little greasy. Their chicken is fresh soft and delicious.
Picked up dinner after a Disneyland trip. Everything was fantastic as usual. Ordered the tarna and shawarma combo, two chicken kabob plate for the kids and I tried the new bowl. Everything was delicious as usual and no one can beat their garlic sauce. Yummm
I always order at the Anaheim ball road location. On 6/11/2022 I place a phone order and they said in 15 minutes so i got there a little after 15 minutes paid and they said it was not ready. So I waited I order at 353 and I didn't get my food untill 430. So I happen to ask how much more for my order and they said let me check. It happen that my order was there all these time. And the supervisor Daniel said oh sorry about that long wait. Before that there was a customer that had order his food with no olives and no cheese I believe. The whole point was that Daniel was very very rude and didn't know how to handle the situation. All the customers were there listening and he didn't care. I think that the customer is first and he just need to give the customer what he was asking for. He needs more customer service training. He was trying to explain to the customer that the bowl and the plate have the same amount of meat portion. I just think that he could of handdle it differently. It get super busy at these location. All the time. All the team needs training.
I didn't have a pleasant experience at this location recently, today. I had placed a prepaid order, well in advance online. Not only did they make me wait in the long line for to pick up my prepaid order for myself. The lady I tried to speak with is named Tanya. She was very rude. They failed to add an item I paid for when I had finally returned back to work and looked at my lunch order. Utensils were missing when as well when I in fact, had requested these. Terrible customer service overall. The food was ok.
I love coming to Zankou! I always order 2 skewers of shish kabob and hummus. Taste great! Garlic sauce is amazing. Avoid the salad, its not my favorite here. Rotisserie chicken is tasty and juicy! I only recommend you personal add salt to your rice so everything could be savory and perfect. I highly recommend Zankou Chicken!
This is game-changer level chicken! This is an absolute must try, the portions are nice and big. And the food tastes so so good! Seriously though, the chicken has to be the best I have tried. Their garlic butter is incredibly good too and you're very likely to leave your plate clean. I can't recommend this place enough!
2nd time coming here. First time wasn't do impressed as I got a wrap. 2nd time I got the plate and wow was the experience different.I recommend getting the plate. I got the 1/2 chicken 1/2 beef kabob plate. It was delicious. That garlic sauce is addicting.While the wraps are okay, they lack something. I can't really put my thoughts on it, but try it for yourself.Friendly staff can help explain some of the sides if you aren't familiar with the items.
Can't say enough about Zankou. If you like shawarma and falafel you'll love it here.My go to is the trip tip or chicken tarna plates but for sides I substitute 2 tahini salads and 1 hummus
