Cool location, restaurant small, and compact. Don't go if you are claustrophobic. My burrito was excellent as was my wife's platter, and the food served spicey. Service was slow, the waiter actually had to reverse our credit card as he gave us someone else's charges. Cadillac Margarita had a surcharge of $3/ea, cost was $13/drink, a little over the top.
Came to Anaheim Packing District for lunch with a couple of friends and needed to locate a spot that could accommodate my husband as he has Celiac Disease (can’t have gluten cross contamination). I called ahead and Ashley answered the phone. She was so helpful and kind enough to check with the head chef to confirm we could be accommodated. She informed me he could have anything on the menu that wasn’t fried (as they only have a shared fryer). Perfect! We showed up and ordered take-out from the bar. Ashley helped us and flagged his order (enchiladas) as an allergy and he was able to have a safe meal. Ashley is a rockstar!!I ordered the (vegetarian) cauliflower tacos and they were delicious! We did take-out and ate outside downstairs in the cute cushioned seated area.Highly recommend Urbana if you are looking for a spot with gluten free fare in Anaheim Packing District!
Went with my girlfriend, we asked three times if the enchilada dish had nuts and my girlfriend mentioned her allergy allergy. We were told the dish had no nuts in it, and that the waitress had confirmed with the kitchen staff. This was inaccurate. I had to run to a nearby store to get her benadryl because of her allergic reaction. Even after she was visibly having this reaction, the server still denied that the dish had nuts in it.Not knowing much about Mexican cuisine we took her word for it up until she had her allergic reaction. When we got back home, we realized the dish had mole, not something we knew anything about until today, but when googled clearly shows that it is made from nuts. We were lied to about the dish, and my girlfriend has had to suffer an allergic reaction because of it.Not acceptable at all. Stay away if you have a nut allergy.
Wow from the food to the drinks!!! Thank you to the chef Matt and bartenders Phil and Joe!! What an amazing experience. It was my first time going to Urbana. I felt so welcomed. The bartender Phil was super friendly and made the best margaritas! So fresh! The food was 5 stars to say the least. So flavorful and hit the spot! Can’t wait to go back. Great job everyone at Urbana!
I have been there a few times and every time I go there the kitchen is "closed" even though it's packed. Thankfully the restaurant next door was nice enough to let me sit there and enjoy a nice dinner. I'm mexican and I'm in the industry. So I shouldn't be typing this because it's not nice, so that should tell you something about that place.
Great food, drinks and service!
Great food and great drinks come check it out!!!!!
Taco Tuesday experience. Great ambience, I loved the decor, the server was cute and attentive, but sadly the food wasn't great. We ordered the mole, fish, and potato with chorizo tacos. The presentation was beautiful, the homemade tortillas were soft, but they were COLD ?...also they needed salt, seasoning, they were unbridled. Churros were hot, they were ok but nothing out of this world for what you paid for them. I tried Jorge Negrete mezcal and didn't like, was so strong ( my mistake). My friend ordered a "fruity" drink and it was sour instead, no flavor at all, it tasted like mine but diluted with ice or something. Pricey place for eating cold food. I concluded It's good for drinking a beer before going somewhere else.
Enjoyed the time there, but the seats were definitely uncomfortable. The drinks weren't as bad but definitely will return next time I'm in town to give it another chance.... coming from Chicago, It was a good vibe in there
Very poor StaffingFood was not that greatThey try to charge me a 70 out of gratitude feeWithout notifying meI would not recommend this place to no one
