Had the chicken burrito which we sent back as it was cold! Second one felt like they had microwaved the first. Not the best and expensive due to its location. Cocktails were decent although pricey
6/16 of us got food poisoning and had to skip partial days of our Disney trip due to being ill. My food was cold as well, and chips were stale. Friendly servers, though!
We had a party of 6 that arrived 20 minutes before our reservation. The restaurant was busy, but not packed. After being seated chips and salsa were dropped off and we waited to meat our server. After 15 minutes I flagged down a server walking by and asked if he could send or waiter over. After another 10 minutes I asked a bus boy if he could send someone over. After another 10 minutes I went to the hostess stand and explained the situation. We watched the table next to us come in after us, have two rounds of drinks and order their meal before we could even get waters. Another excruciating 5 minutes for someone to come over. She was clearly taking our table when it was out of her area and we rarely saw her.
My wife and I took an "adult" Disney trip to enjoy the Cristmas holiday sights and sounds. Our first night there, 12/31/21, was spent primarily in Downtown Disney. We visited shops, listened to a live band. And eventually had dinner at Tortilla Jo's. We had a good meal there and enjoyed champagne for New Years Eve. We started off with their guacamole and chips and salsa. Both were very good. My wife ordered rhe Flauta Platter and I ordered the Combination Enchilada Platter. The portions were large. Great time!
they had very delicious food here! the inside of the building is beautiful! the waiters are nice and make sure you get everything. they are humans too remember to be nice! i wouldn't recommend coming if you have a large party with you. its not really expensive with a few people but it can get pretty pricy. ALSO THERE ARE VEGAN OPTIONS!!
It was good. The only reason it is not 5 stars is because being Latina I have high expectations for Mexican food. Horchanta was really good. The Nachos tasted good but I wanted the cheese more melted. Atmosphere was great.
Tasty dishes that are presented well and the service was great. Came here on a Saturday in January around noon and we were seated immediately (4 people). The food is slightly pricey for what it is but it is on par for a Disney location. Our server made some wonderful cocktail recommendations that paired well with our food. It's great to sit on the patio, enjoy your food and watch all the DD activity outside. My only (small) complaint was the ceviche was very light on shrimp (pictured). I order ceviche at every restaurant where it is offered and this is without a doubt the smallest amount of shrimp I've come across in a while. Still tasty but light on what I consider to be the defining ingredient. Other than that, all the other food was flavorful and very enjoyable. I'd recommend this place to friends.
Our server was really nice and super efficient, I was very impressed with him. (Wish I could remember his name) My only complaint was the reservation system. We had made reservations way in advance and had to wait in a long line to let them know about our reservation and that we had arrived. Then they took our phone number to text us when the table would be ready, then we had to wait in the long line again after we were texted to notify them we received the text. I thought a reservation was supposed to avoid all these extra steps and lines? Enchiladas were pretty good though.
So happy with Tortilla Jo’s! We showed up cold and wet(it was raining), and hungry and it seemed that everywhere else needed reservations and we hadn’t made any. But Tortilla Jo’s took us in and stuffed us full of chips and salsa and then enchiladas and fajitas and now we are only slightly damp, and now very warm, and happy family. :)The staff was so friendly and kind in helping around the menu. Also if you go you should get the strawberry lemonade, 10/10.Lesley was our waitress and she was just lovely
I had a great time at this restaurant and a big part of it was due to our server Rudy. He was so funny, attentive, and fast. Rudy made the dining experience fun and merry. My friends and I came to downtown Disney the week of Christmas so every restaurant was packed and had a long waitlist. We got seated outside which was fine because they had the patio heaters outside. Right when we were seated they gave us so much chips and salsa. It was an endless amount of chips and salsa, which was so nice. The food was pretty good a Tortilla Jo's. The portions were big and the price was reasonable. The refried beans were very good. I've never been big on beans, but the refried beans at Tortilla Jo's were very, very good. I highly recommend coming here if you're around downtown Disney. The environment is relaxed here and the food is good. Complementary chips and salsa is a nice plus. Margaritas were also very tasty.
