Small portions and high prices. Would not recommend as a solo eater. Food was fine

Delicious food! Pricy but so worth it.. will def come back!

Got a crispy pata large for to go, it’s soft and tender, worth the price, $26 for large. Probably the only item worth ordering if you already know how to cook Filipino food at home, if you know what I mean. Their kare-kare and others taste fair, can’t go wrong with authentic food. Would come back just for the crispy pata (pork leg). Sarap

Kare kare and crispy pata is delicious!

Clean place.

The Original Barrio Fiesta of Manila in Anaheim, CA will make you feel like you’re eating in the Philippines.Upon entering this restaurant, I was welcomed with a friendly, “Hello, welcome po!” “Po” is a Filipino honorific style to show respect. Kuya Noel sat my guest and I at one of the tables and gave us our menu. There were so many dishes to choose from so we asked Kuya Noel what their specials were and he said that they were known for their Kare Kare and Crispy Pata. He recommended we try their “Solo Special”, which is a combination of 1/2 Kare Kare, Small Crispy Pata, and Rice. The Solo Special is said to serve 2 for $40.75 (as of September 2021). We also ordered the Canton / Bihon Mix ($18.75). Had we explored the menu thoroughly, we could have ordered the Tipid Package for just $82.75. The Tipid Package comes with Large Crispy Pata, full-size Kare Kare, Rice, an Appetizer, and Pancit Bihon or Canton! To our surprise, the Solo Special alone was way too much food for 2 people. No prob! We were able to enjoy the leftovers. It was also easy to find with plenty of parking spots.Good spot to introduce friends to Filipino cuisine. We really enjoyed it here. I even came back a couple weeks after with my family. And, OMG, they had the best Halo-Halo here! We opted for the Special Halo-Halo as opposed to the Regular HH. The special basically comes with a scoop of Ube ice cream. I really liked it because the flavors weren’t super sweet compared to other places I’ve tried.Pro-Tip: Order a Leche Flan and Special Halo-Halo. Add a scoop of the Leche flan to the HH. You’ll thank me later!Overall, I’d be back. It’s comforting Filipino food with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. Plus they played some awesome 90s R&B and Pop music, including popular Filipino hits!

Newly opened and very good food but need more space and closing hour is too early 7:30pm should at least be 9pm

Delicious crispy pork leg.

Great Food! Great Service! That filipiniana ambiance! We will be back!

It was a great lunch experience. Even though we can create similar menus at home, but then supporting your fellow businesses in a foreign country will be a plus to the community, and letting other cultures enjoy the menus that our culture has to offer Filipino foods won't differ much from other cultures.Explore, we Filipinos welcome any culture, especially in the food business.Heck yeah, I will give it try.
