Do you want an authentic "street taco" experience? Well this is the place for you. You'll be right next to the street! You'll enjoy all the sights smells and sounds of the street. Minimal shade, buzzing flies, mosquito bites, honking traffic, and no climate control of the Southern California weather. Because you're literally next to the street. Getting hot and want a cup of water? Oh they don't offer that. But they are happy to sell you a bottle like this is an outdoor concert or music festival. Sure sure, you've said much about the ambiance but. Is the food worth it? Let me stop scratching my mosquito bites and answer. There is nothing special about these very small street tacos sized tacos. The asada was so dry. So so dry. The polo was also very very dry. The chorizo was acceptable. The carnitas were good. And I don't know if it was just that by then my expectations were sufficiently lowered but the fish tacos were amazing. Maybe it was just the slaw on the fish tacos that gave it flavor and moisture that my body was demanding. The carnitas fries were 11 bucks, which seems excessive but they were the best part of the meal. The fries were perfectly cooked, and because it was covered in sour cream the asada wasn't that dry. Plus they had beans on the asada fries which helped out. Would I go back? No. The parking is difficult. The location is remote. The seating is awful. But if you find yourself in the area, and you like fish tacos, I'd say try it out. No one is doing anything wrong there. The employees are friendly, the quality of the ingredients is fine, the prices are ok for 2022, and at least they are trying to stay in business. I just didn't care for the recipes or the policies or the seating.
Trised the taco soecial 3 for 5 soft and hard tacos. Both were delicious and worth the drive. I will definitely go there again. The burritos are next on my to eat list.
Stopped by here for a snack on a weekday after work after spotting it on my way home. They have a cute outdoor seating area with good vibes. The fish tacos were pretty good and the watermelon agua fresca tasted pretty fresh. Would definitely come back if I'm in the area - it's pretty close to a lot of hiking trails and would be a satisfying post-hike treat!
Bomb tacos. I believe I got your standard carne asada street tacos 4-5. Salsa was fire (Literally) also fresh cilantro and onions. Affordable prices and fresh food hidden in North tustin.
These tacos were incredible! Especially the fish tacos. The fish tacos were so good I had to order 2 more. Only thing I didn't like was we ordered guacamole and it didn't come with chips, I feel like she could of told us that. But this will now be on the must eat list for when we visit Anaheim
This place has probably the best asada burrito I've ever had! The meat was deliciously seasoned and was the best quality. It was kinda expensive but it was well worth the price!!!!
Update:Not only does the price hike make it a $10 burrito. That burrito that came out was half the portion size then it used to be. The majority of my burrito was tortilla with empty space inside lacking what they used to have. Literally reminded me of the portion sizes at el pollo loco. Mostly cilantro and onion in the burrito now.Its a great place but avoid the burritos as you wont get what your paying for. How does someone raise the prices then give you less food?------------------------I eat here ALL the time its def the spot! ✨I just wanted to address the new salsa policy. Only 2 sauces per item. 50 cents so on. That's cool and all because I know people can abuse that and cost the business. Plus giving the business back salsas that were unused if you're dining there just isn't appropriate anymore/covid. BUT if you're going to start charging for your salsas make sure they are not made of 75% water, please. Pictures are attached to see the consistency. Its pretty clear. And the green salsa practically disappeared into my bomb carnitas fries. This is not what the salsa is typically like so I was disappointed. Normally, if someone made the salsa bad on a batch, I wouldn't complain, but now I am being charged. ?♀️I recommend this place to friends who come in town and they say they love it. Tacos and burritos are bomb overall with a lot of other really yummy items on their menu I would recommend trying it all!!I don't recommend the Al pastor. Dry and no flavor. Unfortunately, every now and then some of my food comes burned like carne asada, carnitas, and the talera bread on the torta. My meats been burnt several times and sometimes I just don't complain but it still sucks. Guess it depends on the cook.I love the outside seating. Great for a quick stop.
This place never lets me down. Fantastic tacos. You can't go wrong ordering anything from the menu. Great little local taco shop. You will wait about 10 minutes for your food because it is made to order.Looking forward to online ordering so I can just pick up and go. 10/10 would taco again.
Love this place food is always fresh. It dose take some time to get your order as they are making the food fresh for you.
Pretty dang good tacos and burritos! Would recommend!
