Considering this was my first time having Shawarma I was quite impressed. Was not sure what to expect but the flavors are a Boom Boom! Recommend by a friend while I was in vacation. The "chicken boom" is absolutely amazing also the loaded fruit cocktail . Price is definitely more on the expensive side, but worth it. I would give this place 5 stars, but the wait was about 30min. for one meal.
My friends and I met there to celebrate a birthday. I got the 24” combo plate which fed two people. I did particularly like the chicken a lot! We then asked for the Nutella desert which hit the spot. You just gatta have sweets or even their fruit smoothie after a savory meal. The staff was very friendly and generous. They answered all our questions and gave us recommendations. We ended up having a very pleasant time. I defined recommend!
As a chef and jordainian too, I know shawarma by heart, this place offers super expensive shawarma that tastes OK but not close to good. It’s obvious that they spend a lot of money on marketing and that’s why they have a high volume of customers, but I don’t think many people will go there twice. And please keep your restaurant a little bit more clean and organized, last time I was there, I had to pray before eating the food. The place was a miss inside out.
Ordered two boom combos and the total was $45 which is extremely expensive for just shawarma. Also the lady that takes orders is very rude and not friendly person. Also they don’t take credit card so only cash! We will definitely not come back to this place at all. Don’t waste your time driving just go somewhere else.
First time customer! The food was delicious! Had their special roll with the BBQ meat(Friday night only). The younger girl working was super helpful in helping me to decide what to order. A little pricey but it was delicious. THANK YOU, SHAWARMA LOCA !!
Way overpriced for just decent food. Portions are pretty small The inflation of price is due to all the media attention that they have. The shawarma were just alright, not the worst but def not the best. Chicken is way better than the beef. 2/5
Food takes so long to order took me around 45 mins. Instead of yelling BOOM BOOM make my god damn order. Plus he doesn’t wear a mask, man thinks he’s a celebrity. The good old days of the shawarma truck is over.
This place used to have decent shawarma before they became more popular, but ever since their customer base grew they started to immediately cut corners and raise costs. Don't even get me started on their HORRIBLE service, with 30-40 minute waiting times and extremely rude, unprofessional workers. I also question the cleanliness of this place, none of the cooks or staff were wearing masks or hairnets. They act so enthusiastic on Instagram to attract more customers but in reality they have the worst attitude ever. Why should anyone continue to support this business if you don't even show any appreciation or simple manners. If you see this please try to change the above mentioned things, I promise if you do your business will be ten times more successful.
To much of a show and less of quality! The food tasted a lot better in the truck before than in this store.Management now seem to be more stingy with everything while at the same time increasing the prices for less tasty food. Shaworma loca was #1 for a long time and I bragged about it, brought people from all over the place to try it... not anymore! It just dropped from the list unless they fix things. Oh, creativity and cleanliness are not there anymore!
We drove all the way from Riverside, their service is terrible I waited one and half hours for my food and when I got the food the sandwiches were very dry no sauce. This is the second time it happened to me it seems like the meat was from the night before. Never again it is sad they were very good when they first open don’t let the posts deceive u or make u think it’s worth it it’s not worst shawarma ever. And u would expect it would be amazing considering the price it’s expensive for nothing?????
