The diner is well kept and I love the oldies style theme. The prices itself were reasonable.I ordered a patty melt and a cookie dough milkshake. Both were decent though the patty melt was too greasy for my tastes (I guess I should've expected that). My family member ordered a clam chowder and it tasted good, but had a peculiar added kick to it. Unexpected but not bad though.
Maybe Americans are used to this kind of diners. But we foreigners love the atmosphere an old dinerlook has. Just like the movies. The shakes are gorgeous and tastefull. And the breakfast, mui mucho. Ohh, did I tell you about the waitress? Experience yourself
We just had the most ridiculous and disappointing experience. We were told the wait would be 20 minutes, it ended up being more like 40, but that’s ok. We were finally seated and handed LUNCH menus, we were there for breakfast! The waitress came by and I asked for a breakfast menu; “Oh we don’t serve breakfast after 11:30”OMG, we were not told up front that we could not get breakfast, NEVER AGAIN!!!!! Horrible way to handle customers. ****DON’T GO HERE FOR BREAKFAST IF YOU GO TO CHURCH*****
The best way to sum this up, is quality here is amazing. The people are kind, the place is clean, very well kept, maintained, the food is delicious. And the thing that really catches my eye personally is the character in the place. The wall fans, the vent covers, everything is unique and and flawlessly preserved and maintained. You really don’t see that anymore unfortunately… totally worth the try, but be prepared to make this a regular stop ??

We had a wonderful experience thanks to our server Sergio . He was very interactive , quick , attentive and made us happy the entire evening . We intend to request his area on our future visits . Our food was also very good . Great burgers and shakes . I was not expecting such a memorable evening . Walked away feeling really good about our night out . Thanks Sergio and Ruby’s Diner .
Place was clean, waiter was attentive, clean restroom a plus. I only had 2 things I disliked, 2 of us upgraded our fries to garlic fries, and while they had enough garlic to make them potentially great, they were soggy as if they were dipped in oil, no crispness at all. Very disappounting, especially when the waiter said they would be crispy. 2nd thing, is once we got the food No One asked if we liked it, the waiter didnt come back ( they were slow,not many customers) and the manager never left the front area behind the counter.

Great service and fantastic food. The perfect place to stop for dinner and dessert after a day at Disneyland. I really like the garlic fries and the banana split.
