Everything was impeccable. Service was great, easy parking, and the food was off the charts wonderful.
For the most part, the service was exceptional. Our server was forgetful, such as making our table more stable, the refills, but more importantly, he forgot to offer the birthday dessert until after we ordered and finished our desert, so we had to pass. We had a birthday celebration there because I heard they did a really good job acknowledging birthdays, but not offering/bringing out the birthday dessert was a huge miss. Other than that, the food was excellent and the staff brought out the food promptly.
Shane was a great host. The hostess was friendly and validated my parking. The manager made sure we had a great food experience. Chefs portion and meal choice was superb.

Great service, great food. Went here for my birthday, and couldnât be more thankful for the experience. I recommend the Lobster Bisque, one of the best Iâve ever eaten! My only critique would be that the restaurant was hidden behind many tree branches, which were covering the front entrance. I assume that might deter business so just leaving that remark for this specific location. amazing service and food, I would come back again most definitely.
I normally love Royâs, but this last time was pretty disappointing. I had ordered their soft shell crab limited time special. The soft shell crab was way over cooked. So much so that I couldnât even taste the crab. The garlic noodles were also over cooked. Definitely not what I expected from Royâs. Despite the food quality, customer service was still spectacular as usual.
40th Wedding Anniversary. Wife and I enjoyed Royâs as usual. Our go to restaurant for many years. When will you reopen some of the restaurants (I.E. Pasadena)? Only Anaheim and San Diego left in California.
