The entire time was blinded by sun asked them to put shade down and entire time eating was fighting flies for my food and lied too about sharing food

I've been waiting to try Poppy and Seed for quite some time- I've been drooling over their beautiful food on instagram and was finally able to visit! The food did not disappoint. Standouts for me included their shrimp and lobster risotto, grilled meatballs, and the fry bread that accompanied the prosciutto burrata. The corn fritters also came with an insanely delicious horseradish sauce that I would pour on anything. Service was attentive (Eva) and the GM was also lovely and welcoming. I would definitely visit again - already dreaming of coming back with my family for brunch. Food was tight and it's such a beautiful restaurant- would definitely recommend!

Located by the Anaheim packing district. Cute spot for brunch. Food was okay but ambiance was great. They had a great playlist.

My first visit to Poppy & Seed and had a really wonderful brunch there. Such a great outdoor setting and the food was simple but delicious. That hash toast brick is a definite must-have! I look forward to going back in the evening to really see what magic the chef creates.

Great outdoor dining experience. The music was relevant and exciting adding to a fun experience. The food is experimental and very delicious. The drinks are phenomenal and the service impeccable.

Cute place for brunch! Food and drinks were good!

A marvelous way to spend our anniversary. The mixologist/bartender was charming and, like everyone on the staff, authentically sought our feedback. The Eggplant Burrata had a flavor and texture profile that speaks well of the creativity of the chef. The seafood ceviche was exceedingly fresh and delicious. The main course was scallops cooked with pork belly and lentils on a bed of pureed celery root, again reflecting the great imagination of the chef. Our salad was the beet and strawberry, which offset perfectly with the main dish. One goes to a restaurant like Poppy & Seed for an extraordinary culinary experience. It succeeded on every count. We sat outdoors on what was otherwise a warm day. By 6:30 the temperature was perfect and remained so for the duration of the evening. The Packing Shed district in Anaheim is a charming place to spend an evening. Be sure, though, to plan plenty of time for the valet parking.

They didn't set up the table even though I booked a reservation. I could be inside after waiting 30 mins more when I get there. Also, the dining table was so sticky. The hair came out from the food and was replaced but with smaller portions. Only the bar employee was so kind and every clerk was not that kind.

We went for brunch on Sunday. the majority of the table ordered shrimp & grits and enjoyed their food. I personally loved the hot sauce you could tell it was made from scratch and not bottled.

I expected the food to be better than it was. We got the chiliquiles and the chicken and waffles. The chiliquiles were good but the chicken and waffles were a small portion and could have been battered better. The prices weren’t true to the menu. When I received the check it was different then the menu price. The service was good and the ambiance was very nice
