Came in without any Expectations and we were pleasantly surprised. Party of two. Sat by bar. Enjoyed some very very good Calamari, Pinot Grigio and a Margarita pizza Denim was a very nice server but what made our dinner was Andrew, the manager. When he saw that we were not diving into our pizza he stopped and inquired. He found out we needed more sauce and offered to heat some up or even make a new pizza. Great service! Thanks Andrew and Denim
We left the parks to eat here a couple of times for lunch and we were glad both times we did. Our server Esteban was super friendly and helpful and the food here is so much better than anything in the parks or Disney hotels. We had pasta, salads and pizza and all were really good. The pizza was huge but not at all soggy and the toppings well cooked. Outside had a good feel so I’d recommend sitting outside if you don’t mind it being warmer. Thanks for 2 great meals.
We were a large group of 15. The restaurant was not busy as this was around 1:30 pm. We asked for a table, but the host, Marco, and his co-hort Gardenia, haughtily told us that they wouldn't be able to get us a table unless all the party was present. We agreed to be seated in smaller groups, but asked that we be seated in the same general area, at least. Marco said that they could not do that (Why the heck not!?) When my sister arrived with her family, she asked if she could check to see if we were already seated. She was rudely told, no she couldn't, "What does it matter, you can't be seated together anyway!" They then seated her at a table farthest away from us, in an area that had no shade. When she asked to be moved to a table nearer us, she was told no, even if there were several empty tables in our area. Our lunch was just okay. As we were leaving, we asked our server, Sausha (who was fabulous, by the way) for the name of the host that seated us. Marco overheard, approached us, and in the most condescending tone, said "Why do you want to know." Ugh. So terribly rude! What was an otherwise great day with the family at Downtown Disney was ruined by the worst customer service, ever.
Dropped in after a long day at Disneyland to grab a drink and enjoy great outdoor weather. Service here is superb, even though it was crowded. I really felt that my server Adrian was very welcoming. Drinks here are pricey, and perhaps that's true throughout the Disney complex, which affects my overall rating. The big winner was our order of Bruschetta -- a huge portion with very large chunks of marinated tomatoes. Excellent flavor and texture. The appetizer was delivered very promptly. Enjoyable visit!
We were in town walking around Downtown Disney and decided to take a chance on this place. We put our name down and waited for about 40 minutes which wasn't bad. We were seated up stairs and it was a great place to people watch. I went with the gnocchi and they were amazing as they were light, fluffy and just perfect. The amount of sauce was just right and made for an absolutely perfect meal. The service was quite good and the prices were very reasonable. It was a great experience from start to finish.
We had the pizza, spaghetti, and salad. The pizza was the worst of all with the dough being chewy, the ingredients falling off, the sauce was watery and tasted bland. The cheese was slipping off the pizza as it wasn’t well spread and done in clumps. It didn’t feel cooked at all. The spaghetti was well done but the sauce was the same as the pizza. The salad was a plain old salad you can find anywhere. Overall it was too overpriced for something you can find somewhere else for better quality and pricing.
downtown disney was disappointing in terms of dining options. Naples was our only option for seafood. We ate on the back patio. The food was good, not exceptional, but quite expensive. I had salmon, my wife had a ceasar salad and classic pan pizza. Service was good, The restroom was inside the building and on the second floor, so you get your steps if you need to wash up.
We arrived at our reservation time, were seated immediately and served quickly. The server and food were very good - bruschetta, chicken pharm and a pizza. The mixed drink was good as well. The pricing was a little expensive, but we were in Cali and at Downtown Disney. The seating was outside (which with Covid, we thought was good at first), but then the Santa Anna winds picked up and it was cold. There were lights and heaters, but the wind was still cold. We are from Ohio and left home with a foot of snow on the ground, so we were just happy to sitting outside regardless - mixed emotions about that.
Love this place!! Excellent service
We were celebrating my son’s birthday, staying at the Grand Californian. We tried to get reservations for a month. Fortunately we were able to put our name on a walk-up list. We were originally told it would be a 1 1/2 hour wait and would all need to be present within 5 minutes of our notification that our table was ready or they would give our table away. Fortunately we were able to track how many people were ahead of us. Our table was ready 30 minutes early! We were seated and to our surprise, there were several empty tables. Maybe they didn’t have enough staff. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. He helped us select a lovely bottle of wine. We order the chicken Parmesan, fungi pizza, and salmon. All three items were absolutely delicious! We sat outside, by a heater, on a very chilly January evening. We never felt rushed and had an amazing time. I highly recommend this restaurant.
