The beignets tasted good, but were a big disappointing because they were hallow in the center. They looked like nice big, fluffy donuts, then after the first bite you realized there wasn't much donut on the inside. The line at the Mint Julep Bar can be kinda long, We were able to place an immediate mobile order and only had to wait a few minutes for the order to be ready. It was much better than standing in the long line!
The beignets were fine, although we could not tell a difference between the special cookie butter flavor and the regular flavor. The person taking my order was grumpier than I expected. Maybe she was having a bad day.
This used to be a secret spot but everyone knows now that the beignets are spectacuar and fresh and you have to get them. Now the lines are long and the mobile orders book up so do plan ahead and use mobile order and make sure you find a time to get these beignets. They are beyond amazing. Forget the mint julep - nothing special -- it's the beignets!!
The food was great, the desserts options were beyond amazing. I can't lie I had a few more desserts than I set out to have. The bar was fairy packed but the bartenders worked hard to service everyone. Love the atmosphere especially after a long day of walking.
The mickey shape beignets were horrible and overrated. Do not waste your money buying them.
I am so proud of my 5 year old learning how to say beignets. You can easily find where to get these coveted delights near the French market. Just follow the trail of powdered sugar along the brick terracing. Do the mobile order pick up, or if you go early on a foggy morning you won’t have to wait at all. Also get a warm cup of hot chocolate to go with it. Perfection!

Always a stop when in New Orleans Square. The holiday beignets were not too sweet, although the pastry was dry.
The beignets are so delicious. We ate 3 each but I could have eaten more! They are obviously really sugary so anyone who can’t have too much sugar should be careful. My husband also got the seasonal mint julep drink with strawberry and that was really good, too.
