We had a lovely conversation with the owner, and our waitress was just delightful. The food was delicious - best butter chicken I've ever tried. We will go out of our way to eat here again the next time we are in Anaheim.
Friendly staff, seating available, super delicious food. Reasonable prices
I came here because a few years ago I had a great experience for dinner. This time around I came in for lunch buffet. As soon as I walked in, the server lady told me to grab a plate and just sit anywhere after getting food. There was not a lot of options for the Buffet. Rice and 3 or 4 other dishes. That was it!I then had to find an open seat that did not have dirty plates that were not cleaned up yet from previous guests.I started eating, my waiter was no where to be found. Had to get up and get my own water from the fountain.ThenI saw her and asked for naan. She came over and asked me which type. I ordered from her and then she disappeared.I finished my full plate before I can even have the naanLet’s talk about the food, the rice had been sitting under the heat lamp for so long that it was crunchy and hard. I’m not even gonna mention the rest.Overall terrible experience and I would recommend you find other Indian restaurants near by. There are lots.Skip this one!The restaurant was empty.
Food was days old! AC not working inside. Chicken tandoori was days old or may be left over from buffet also chicken tikka masala that chicken inside was days old .Never comming back.I had it yesterday and today my stomach is upset ?Writing this review sitting on the toilet seat with my pants down. Hopefully my tummy gets better otherwise I’ll call them to take out my frustration. Had to skip office because of my upset stomach.Never had that horrible Indian food taste.Stop giving people left over food instead give them and make fresh food you’ll get more customers.
Was excited to try this place out. Unfortunately the food was just not tasty to us. The garlic naan was a little rubbery and doughy. There was no crisp to it at all. We shared one dish and didn’t even finish.
Would not recommend this place at all.Cleanliness: 1/5Order correctness:1.5/5Taste: 1.5/5I ordered Paneer tikka dry which was not even close to what is paneer tikka. Literally paneer and lot of onions, some peppers in OIL!Malai kofta: only 4 kofta in entire curry and ofcourse OIL.The only thing a little better was onion kulcha.Cleanliness was just far from this place. Almost 15 mins the surrounding tables were left unattended
I ate here with a colleague during a recent business trip and we both agreed that we want to return next year. The food was very flavorful and the service was great. The waiter (it may have been the owner) was very attentive.
Alright, I have a lot of experience with Indian spices and I say that this restaurant lacked that. I came in here for lunch buffet. They had total of 5 dishes out, one rice item which was fried rice. All of their dishes either had too much of one spice and less of other. The combination of mismatched spices destroyed the taste completely. Samosa were good but felt like they were frozen from store and heated in oven. I dried every dish in the buffet and was not pleased by even one dish. There was no dessert either which is a no miss for an Indian buffet. Overall, I was not satisfied with the food at all. However two star is for cleanliness and friendly staff.I did not try the menu items so can't speak on that yet.
You could see the staff prepping the food and it was all fresh. The food was authentic and there was really good customer service. Would highly recommend!
The food is not the best Indian food. I had their weekend lunch buffet ($15.07 on Feb 2022). They didn't have a plentiful selection. The salad did not have the lime-yogurt dressing, nor the red onions I was hoping for. The tandoori chicken looked old and dry and the cook said he cooked it in the morning so it didn't look appetizing at 2 pm. I asked the cook to give me fresh oven-baked tandoori chicken---which most Indian restaurants would oblige----but the manager came up and said no (as closing time was 2:30 pm). Their pan bread lacked taste. The so-called garlic nan had no garlic, just a smattering of garlic-flavored oil. They didn't have Aloo (potato vegetable) too. Their Chicken Tikka wasn't sumptuously buttered.I asked the grim-faced manager if a cola drink came w/ the buffet, which is common, but he spread 4 fingers out to indicate $4 more. Overall, very unsatisfactory. The only thing going for this place is a busy location and the decor was fine, otherwise, I don't recommend this place for Indian food.
